Just heard there is no Sean on the show today. I'll listen today.

Suppelsa's not a bad listen on the radio. He hasn't had much of a thought yet but his voice doesn't make me want to jab a fork in my ear like Sean's. Since when is he a sports guy anyways? Isn't he a news anchor on Fox?

Ah thanks for the heads up. I was having a hard time finding anything while flipping the other stations (and oddly never even tried 1000).

That is how bad its gotten for MVP during this time frame. I caught the info after Mike and Mike and was like, Alright I'll give it a shot. I think Rosey's been great today.

Hah! Did Mark just say that his goal was to let Rosey finish a sentence?

This show has been the best two hours of radio during this timeslot since Silvy and Carmen left it.

Does anyone else find it really funny that Rosey has continuously read e-mails saying how nice its been that Sean is not on today?

He does seem to take great joy when the emails start "Great show without sean there". Hell he even complimented you long email Ryan. Sean would have ripped you and argued against a point you didn't even try to make.

I have no clue what you said, but ok.

The point is exactly what I said. Stop crapping on Thomas Jones. The guys isn't so happy these days to be a Bear. That's why its a big deal to disrespect him again. I'm sorry that your Bears organizaion is so classless...just like almost all the other teams in town. I'm so sick of it

I agree with the positive comments about the Rosey-Suppelsa pairing. Suppelsa is a well-rounded guy and makes funny and interesting comments about a lot of things. Meanwhile, Suppelsa's laid back personality has allowed Rosey to make a lot more wisecracks, which have been quite funny--like referring to Lovie Smith as the Bears' "Interim Coach", calling the World Cup a "giant kickball tournament", etc.

I would also say that this pairing proves, once again, that one needn't give a show 18 months to assess its chances for delivering quality broadcasts. Suppelsa and Rosey are obviously a good team--while the team of Sean and Rosenbloom constitutes a radio emergency.

Good call. I was just trying to be a good sport by giving them a month, but f that. Too bad I have to go back to Mully and Hanley tomorrow. bah.

I had the radio on at work all three hours today, and in all honestly, ESPN 1000 was off the dial the entire time until 2:53p. Does anyone know if Sean is out tomorrow? If so, I'd tune in and spare myself the last hour of the Mike North show (yes, I am listening to NORTH now at 9a).

Don/t know if you enjoyed Rosey on the Score during Saturdays, but if you did then you would have enjoyed today's show. He was actually pretty funny and he made some great points. Really was good.

Do you think Sean will listen back to the show/s that he's missed? And if he does, will he be pissed with the way Rosenbloom presented the "glad Sean ain't here" emails? I'd like to think Rosey is fed up with this dude (hello, Dusty) and is getting his digs in.

WR, if you went way back probably a year, me fighting for Rosey was like you fighting for S&C. I have always been a big fan, but cant stand him when paired with screamy.

Haha, we all got our favorites. I really liked Rosenbloom on Saturdays back in the day. I hated him when he was doing thw show in January. He was really grumpy and too Score--ish..pi-ssed off at the world and what not. Today, he was just on. Whether you agreed or disagreed with what he was saying, he delivered well, made his po-ints, and some funny moments, and did anyone else catch how he had no problem constantly bringing up the e-mails about Sean not being there and how muich better it was. He totally would have read our organized e-maile effort hadn't Sean been there that day.

I think Rosey is a talent as well. Salisbury seems stuborn and won't change. He's got his TV work to fall back on so he's gonna do radio his way and not listen to any caller suggestions or Spaceball for that matter.

Was bored with Mully and Hanley today so yea, I decided to jump ship back to MVP because i thought Rosey was really good yesterday. Not too bad today. Sean definitely seems to be leashed up a little bit. Haven't heard much yelling, but haven't heard much of the show....Anyone listen to today? Was it somewhat better?

Caught about a half-hour of it. It was bad in the usual way. Well, not quiet. Salisbury isn't yelling as much but he still talks over Rosenbloom half the time in order to make his points.

I think WMVP ought to trade Salisbury, Jeff Dickerson, and an intern to be named later for the rights to Mike Mulligan. Salisbury and Hanley would be a great show--- two guys yammering and yapping at the same time for an hour-and-half. Plus crosstalk between North and Salisbury would be hilarious.
