This was ridiculous.
Earlier today (April 1) I had Murph's show on and his topic was--this was must listen to radio (sarcasm)--should star basketball players get paid.

Oh, dear God.

He treated this as if it was some new topic that has not been discussed over 50,000 times. It was bad radio and one for the "I have no idea what to talk about today, so I'll go with this easy fall-back" option.

There was no preparation for this and it was stupid radio. To top it off, he asked that you don't call in with the "well, players get paid in the form of a scholarship" argument. This was mail-it-in radio at its worst.

look, I'm not a Murph fan...

but if you think the guy's unprepared, you're wrong. He's got enough material to go a six hour show. Every day.
