re-read my first post about you. you add nothing to this discussion except fluff. others here might feel differently and thats fine, but north definely has you trained well. like i said, I don't expect you to be critical of your boss. just stating my opinion and you can't seem to deal with it.

Well, I'm answering some questions. Why would I talk bad about people who have been good to me? I have no reason to talk bad about them. You can say whatever you want, I'm not stopping you, but I doubt you criticize your own employer publicly. You're pretty dense if you expect me to do that.

I just had to tune back in. Boom Boom just asked the most nonsensical gibberish about Terry Francona to Greg Walker. It was a stream of consciousness that had absolutely no sentence structure whatsoever.

Also, it really seemed to have no context and was just Boom Boom trying to exhibit some Chicago sports knowledge and failing.

As I said before, I want to like Webio but this show is a trainwreck in process.

Webio should be skewing to a younger crowd. Find somebody like J Leman he was a communication major and a weirdo. Give him a shot. He'd probably suck but what the hell. I'm sure he'd work for nothing to get in the business. But, they probably couldn't sell ad time for him. Find new talent. Give me something different.

Webio's broadcast day ends at 3pm for me.

Tim, you or someone else needs to have a sitdown with this Boom Boom character immediately. He is embarrassing himself and this new station at a time when you need to make a good first impression on listeners. They just got Greg Walker on and after Chet asked a first question, Boom Boom goes on this stumbling, rambling, stuttering question about whether Terry Francona coached Michael Jordan in AAA. Walker was just like WTF, Chet apologized right away and then took over with the questions. Chet has apologized more times than I can count in an attempt at self deprecation but it's obvious he's angry and embarrassed about this.

You're right, you guys have done a good job of booking big name guests for a new thing like this but the well of guests will run dry VERY quickly when you make them uncomfortable like this. These guys talk off the air and if you get a bad reputation from guys like Boom Boom acting like this, you will find yourself begging for d-list guests soon.

So Tim when are you guys going to start posting your listener numbers on the site (I can't remember the website Van uses)? Since you can track hits pretty easily, it should be no problem to show how many people are listening.

I didn't hear one second of it today, but just wanted to commend Tim for spending the day here and therefore keeping Beardown off of the streets.

By the way, I hope Tim gets to cash checks on this thing for at least a year. I think he knows it's a joke but he's getting more money than the Score so that's good for him. I get the impression everybody working there knows it's bad and will remain bad. Even Chet gave that impression. I think deep down all of the hosts know they suck. They're just gonna suck on Hernandez's teet until he goes dry. Can't blame them. Thank God for suckers.

That's it for me listening to the "Chet and the Champ". Holy shit, is it bad. If I get a chance I'll try the other shows at least once. When you've got B&B this show has no chance.

Well if they posted the shows after they were done, you'd be able to listen. But they're only a webio. They haven't figured out that technology yet.

Tim- You'll soon come to realize that this a place where some people just come to get their rocks off and be ultra critical. There is an ignore feature for some of the irritants here and I have a feeling that I've made some of their lists with my inane dribble.

Beardown, You are the best interviewer in chicago. You should have a show rather than the talentless never beens that are on now.

Tim, keep posting and you'll develop an ALS. It won't be as big as the Mac ALS, nothing comes close to that, not even B&B's.
However, others aren't koolaid drinkers and choose to come here to add a dose of reality.
There is little doubt that Beardown is far more entertaining to me than anything on CSW, score and MVP, that also includes the unemployed radio "god".
You keep on doing what you do and don't worry about anything here, good luck to you in the new job.

SID did you listen to any of the 3-6 show today? Yeah reading other people's descriptions of the show is funny as a fun-bad thing but listening to is is just sad-bad. I don't know if I'll be able to handle listening to it again even though I know it will be short lived with some classic embarrassing moments.

Freddie and Webby were very good for their first show. I will be sampling them the rest of the week.

I didn't listen today but will give them a shot tomorrow and at least listen during the S&W commercials or if there's a good topic. Can't be upset with another option and those two are decent. I'll also give Hood a shot in hopes his partner improves a ton.

No, I wasn't able to sacrifice my ears today. I'll take your word for it that it was pathetic. I see no reason to tune in to it. I can't listen much of the day, but if I could, I haven't read one reason to tune in. North sucks, Fred and Webby-are they better than Silvy and Waddle? Who's next, are they better than what else is on the air? If not, why tune in? As for the Chet and Boom boom hours, my question is why? I guess this is why I think it will fail, there is no compelling reason to listen to this over the competition. None.
