So it's in a house? Yes I know the public is welcome, but I notice this would not be the type of show that would really allow a heckler or someone that might rip on him to be there?

Mike seems a little scared to go out for a remote?

When was the last time he did a bonafide live show?

Johnny B doing his second tomorrow in 7 months?

Mike and Doug used to be The King of Remotes.

He usually does remotes from peoples backyards during the summer. I'm sure he feels that a remote for a sports radio show in the morning is next to worthless unless there is a big weekday game in the early afternoon. I agree with him. No one is showing up to a remote for a 7:05 Sox game.

If he was half the host he thinks he is (by the way, is he still batting just under .300 in his mind?) he would be able to draw to a bar somewhere in the morning. Mike and Mike never have a problem getting people out when they come to town.

I agree morning remotes are pointless for the most part. I don't even get going to somebody's back yard. How does that help bring in listeners. The point of a remote is to bring listeners to a location or to be on location to preview a big event. People listening like to know their show is there. Going out to somebody's suburban home is stupid.

It goes deeper with north. Down at training camp he couldn't wait for the breaks so he could sprint back into the trailer. The guy seemed to think he was too big to mix with the fans that were hoovering about. However, a few years back in Platteville he used to have no problem joking with the crowd. The guy seems to have lost the desire to do his job. You all work with guys like that, you know the ones that at one time were good employees, but now just show up and mail it in every day.

I think the next remote should be in Chinatown.

I once had a girlfriend chuckle and then spit it out. My pride wasn't hurt at least she went down on me.

I agree, I didnt think I was being that funny. I prefer to think of it as poetic.

Didnt he have a contest to have a remote in a back yard a couple of years ago? I wanted to enter but I lived too far away. If I would have won, I would've had them all come to the house the day of the show and then change my mind. "sorry Mr. North but you're a cocksucker and I dont want you on my property." That would be cool!

I think he should do his next remote from a Denny's, and then Ricky Manning Jr. can roll in there around 6AM on the way home and give the whole crew a beat down.

It would have to be somewhere where commuters could be found. Because, face it, what are 90% of the people doing around 6, 7am?

So,

1) A loop train station. WBBM used to do this as a part of their xmas beg-a-thon, having Felicia and whomever in Union and Ogilvie, getting in everyone's way...
2) Heh. An Oasis along 294. Get your commuters, truckers, whatever.
3) An L stop? Which?
4) Hang out at the Thompson Center.
5) Or Sears Tower lobby...
