Bringing aboard Anne Maxfield and talking politics on the radio show?

Finding his executive producer among the ranks of Gibson's waitresses?

Making BeBe the COO of Sportswebio so the North family can double-dip from the seemingly bottomless money pit of David Hernandez?

Hiring Boom Boom Mancini to co-host a show?

If I were in some prison somewhere and being hung by my thumbs and tortured and I was told the only lawyer available to help me was Spada, I think I'd pass.

You hit it right on the head PC.

Assuming this is really you, why exactly do you think any of us would care? It's not like you're a talent or real contributor to the entertainment of any of these stations that anybody could possibly miss. You pay for boring, repetitive, self serving commercial spots that we all hate. Have fun wasting your money on North's bandwagon. We'll see what your returns look like. Maybe you'll get a rub and tug from North for the support though so at least you have that going for you.

You can't think any of us listen to what you put out there; you buy your time for an infomercial.
It's not entertainment; it is simply an ad.

Wait, that is the webbio - you'll fit right in. No one listens to you now - they won't when you shift where you waste your dollars.

I appreciate all your comments and enjoy the good and hate the bad but thats life. I love talking to former and current players and hearing stories about when they played. I am tired of hearing interviews with sportswriters and broadcasters all the time. I want to hear what former players think about what is transpiring in their sports.

Who wants to hear two hosts talk to each other. Its as exciting as sitting on this board all day.

But every day, my hopes are crushed and I realize this is reality. The Score will never be the same...

i am really, really tired of your lame posts trying to get someone to listen to your piece of shit show. you are a good example of why the public hates lawyers. and when has anyone on this board made a "good comment" about you or your bearly existing radio show. go back to getting drunks off and shut the fuck up.

they way some of you are talking, it sounds like he shot your dog or something, why so much hate towards this guy? I understand that some of you could care less about his decision to stop advertising, but damn...

this thread is hilarious. As long as Bob T and David Hockburg don't take their ads elsewhere, I don't really care who advertises on the Score...

And David, you have done your due diligence on North, haven't you? I'm more than a little concerned about your current mental state...the Score's ratings went up after North left, not before...

Yeah, you know, Mike North, the guy that thought Ray Mancini was a good fit for the afternoon show? Mancini, the guy who said the other day that he likes the Bulls' inside game with Ben Wallace in there? Yeah, North is a winner, no doubt about it. Keep on funnellin' your dough his way.

I think the point is that we're not criticizing his decision to advertise, but rather his decision as to WITH WHOM he's advertising. And in the unlikely event I do get a DUI I will look for a lawyer other than Spada because I wouldn't trust anyone who thinks Mike North's ventures are the way to go in spending one's advertising dollars. (Actually, I may call my plumber as you suggest. He may have a pipe-cutting tool to help spring me from the pokey without paying ANY legal fees!)

Along with the HD radio guy over the stream who talks about pockets....................

First, that needs to head to the tournament of bad. Or at least get in the play-in versus Spada's ad copies.

Second, the ad exec that approved and then executed the Hd Radio commercial's play on pockets needs to be terminated.

Thank god he kind of prepped us for this with that post yesterday praising North and BeBe. Still, this is quite startling.

The New York Stock Exchange is of course closed for the day, but I'll keep a close eye on the Asian markets as they open and see what effects this momentous announcement may have on the already-reeling world economy. When a David Spada switches his advertising bucks from the Score to Sportswebio, the shock waves may be far-reaching, my friends.

 This is one of the funnier things I've ever read.
