He's pretty good. I havnt said "wow" as much during a Bulls game since "ol whats his name" played. He's a closer and may well be the best PG in the NBA within a couple of years.

I dont follow Kids every comment but I take it he's a Pippen guy? I love Pip too but if anyone remembers Pippen came out after I think fours years and it took a couple of years for him to gel. This kid is polished already and he'd be a sophomore. He's the real deal.

1.M-Jeff
2.Pippen
3.Bob Love
4.Artis Gilmore
5.Rose--

Close----Theus/Walker/Grant/ :?:

Of course not now. Pippen was great and did a lot on defense to make up for his lack of offense from shooting. But compare their careers at the same age and its not even close. Pippen was in seven all star games. Rose willpass that for sure. Pippen was never a closer. Even when Jordan was gone. This kid isnt twenty and he's already doing it. Maybe I should of said HE WILL BE THE 2nd BEST BULL EVER but my point is that he's well on his way to being the 2nd best Bull ever. I dont see how thats debatable. Rose will be THE MAN of this team for FIFTEEN years or more. And when its all over, there is no question his stats will reflect his place in Bulls history. I love Pippen. I think he was UNDERATED by the national media. He was the best swingman in the history of the league. Rose may be one of the best PG's ever.

When the thread title says he's better "already" you can see why people may have misunderstood your point.

Rose may be one of the best PG's ever.-----Mr.Belvidere--Lets hold back the Cool-Aid--Oscar Robertson,Jerry West,Isaiah Thomas,Magic,Stockton,Kidd--Thats the Company D-Rose will be In?Throw in CP3 and maybe Deron Williams as his Comtemporary's and lets go from there.I believe that if evrything pans out health wise when its all said and done he will be in the Top 3 of Bulls players of all-time,MJ/Pip/Rose--Not bad at all. :D :D

The title of the thread bothered me but at least Belvidere elaborated, so I'll give him credit for that.

I stand by my belief that Scottie Pippen did the necessary "dirty work" that made it possible for M-Jeff to just score baskets. I know that 5-Tool Player is a baseball term but Pippen was as close to that as they came in basketball.

There are only two players on that list whom I've actually seen play.

I'm old. But just because you didn't see it,doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Guy Rodgers was an excellent PG,also. He is from the original Bulls.

Check out Norm's assists when he played for the Bulls. He was a force on D and a decent PG assists/turnover ratio was pretty good, too.

I know he was a bit of an NBA journeyman, but how bout Orlando Woolridge? He was a pretty good scorer judging from some of the old games I've seen replayed.

Your right...but he was known for his rebounding. He was pretty decent.

He couldn't shoot free throws, rebound, or play defense other than that he was great.

Orlando Woolridge

During the 1984-85 season, Woolridge averaged 22.9 points/game and combined with rookie teammate Michael Jordan to average over 51 points/game. At 6'9" 215lbs, Woolridge's exceptionally strong legs and lean body made him one of the most gifted dunkers in professional basketball. While unstoppable on the open court, his one-dimensional play did not complement Jordan's skills. Therefore, he moved on to the New Jersey Nets for the 1986-87 season in which he averaged 20.7 points/game. After playing 19 games during the 1987-88 season, Woolridge was suspended by the league for violation of the league substance abuse policy.

With his career in jeopardy, he managed to turn his life around signed on as a role player with the Los Angeles Lakers for the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons. Under coach Pat Riley, the Lakers efficiently used Woolridge's skills to provide an offensive spark off the bench. His athletic abilities better complemented the passing skills of Magic Johnson rather than Michael Jordan. His 55.6% field goal percentage during the 1989-90 season was 5th in the league.

Afterward, he was traded to the Denver Nuggets which played an unusual novelty hurry-up offense under head coach Paul Westhead (1990-91). The prolific offense resulted in Woolridge averaging 25.1 points/game and a career high in rebounds, but did not result in many wins. For a substantial period of the year, Woolridge led the NBA in scoring but missed almost half of the season due to an eye injury. After his only season in Denver, he played with the Detroit Pistons (1992-1993), the Milwaukee Bucks (1993), and the Philadelphia 76ers (1993-1994). He holds career averages of 16.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.He had a brief stint with the Washington Bullets for 1 year.

Europe
He played professionally in Italy for Benetton Treviso (1994-95, won the European Cup and Italian Cup under Mike D'Antoni) and Buckler Bologna (1995-96) (won Italian Supercup).

After retiring, Woolridge coached the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA in 1998 and 1999.

Woolridge currently coaches the Arizona Rhinos of the ABA.
