He claims that Miss California's answer to a question host Billy Bush of "Access Hollywood" asked Sunday night on the "Miss USA Pageant" cost her the crown, which was won by Miss North Carolina. I didn't have a problem with her answer of marriage being natural with a man & a woman, but same sex marriage in this country is a sensitive subject. Many states are recognizing same sex marriages, or is being debated by state legislatures across the country. That being the case, the fact that she's a bigot, and too chicken-shit to even answer the question and admit it does reflect poorly on her. He didn't ask her how she felt about gay marriage; he asked her whether she though the trend toward equal rights ought to continue. Her non-answer implies she'd rather impose her morals on others.
