Ok SHARK and his SHARKisms have become such a big part of this board...Im starting a thread just for him. Post your favorite SHARKisms/Shark Moments here.

Attitude and Bite not required...but encouraged. Not mean spirited...just good natured ribbing. (Your my boy SHARK )

This is my first entry. I think it sums up SHARK and what he has brought to the board perfectly.

RFDC, ESPN/ABC Sports, TNT and the NBA set the playoff schedule and the start times...I don't like the schedule either, but it's beyond all of our control...

Oh ok SHARK, I thought by bitching here I could change things. Thanks for clearing that up.

Bagels, I'm hearing the same commercial myself for this "Boars' Head" lunchmeat, voiced by the guy who used to be the voice of the Wendy's commercials before Dave Thomas passed away many years ago. I have to think you can get it at a deli, but where? Jewel? Dominick's? Tony's Finer Foods? Where can I get this "Boars' Head"? :? :? :?

Recently, this one here where he called out Kujoe7 and crosscheck for not knowing how to spell Todd McShay.

Folks, spell his name correctly if you're going to mention him. Get to know Todd McShay from Scouts, Inc., Chicago. Todd will be prominently featured on ESPN & ESPN2's NFL Draft Coverage starting Saturday @ 3p, and the way he's being advertised, he may be phasing out Mel Kiper, Jr. as ESPN's "Draft Expert" full time in the very near future.

In response to my post: Surprise: Sun-Times files for bankruptcy. Who would have ever guessed?, SHARK gave me a “Hello McFly” with attitude and bite:

SHARK wrote:
Hello...McFly? This isn't a surprise that the Sun-Times and its parent company have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection! They have had $$$$ woes for quite sometime. Why do you think 670 "The SCORE" just hired Joe Cowley to cover the White Sox? Why do you think Jay Mariotti left as columnist? Even before the scandal with ex-publisher Conrad Black, the Sun-Times was among a handful of prominent national newspapers in quite a bit of red ink financially...The traditional newspaper is going bye, bye as more and more people go online to get their news, sports, weather, business, etc. in this digital age.

That one time he gave us a paragraph's worth of information in response to a question that needed a 1 sentence answer.

I think it's also to "make themselves legal" with the FCC. The time & temperature aren't just relegated to radio. Put on any local newscast, and you'll see the time, temp and station logo mainly on the lower right side of the screen. FOX 32 has been rotating its news logo on the lower left side of the screen, similar to FOX News Channel continuously. I think the time, temp & station logo are here to stay, whether you have HD or not.

Spmack, I happen to be a good speller, and it's not just Todd McShay's name that I spelled correctly. The Tony Kornheiser-sounding Erik Kuselias & Ryen Russillo are two national ESPN Radio hosts whose names I've noticed were also misspelled. Mentioning them is one thing, but it would help if people would spell their names correctly, especially if anyone ever wanted to E-mail them if something they said was that offensive...

SHARK, be thankful that you did not work with the "Moron at my job". His farewell email contained this little gem:

Last year the NASCAR Pick 'em was created. (which SHARK ended up winning)

There were five races before the playoffs started. The five races were used to determine the order of the players for said playoff.

Once the playoffs started, all the players were assigned a Chase For The Cup driver which they kept for all of the last 10 races. The players were to pick a second driver to double the points and make things interesting.

SHARK was lost on the pick another driver thing. Hilarity ensues.

I misunderstood the idea of picking a non-Chase for the Cup driver in addition to be assigned one when NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series was down to its last 10 races of last season. I'm glad Carl Edwards & his #99 AFLAC Ford put me in Victory Lane, even though Jimmie Johnson & the #48 Lowe's Chevy three-peated as Sprint Cup Champion.

I'm not about to apologize...One of the best things about posting on this board are the guys who look like famous people. Cases in point:
*The John Ratzenberger-looking Mike D'Antoni, head coach of the New York Knicks
*The Ron Jeremy-looking Stan Van Gundy, head coach of the Orlando Magic
*The Brian Hanley/Michael Chiklis-looking Scott Skiles, head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks
*The Paul Reubens-looking Kyle Orton, now QB of the Denver Broncos

My favorite moment was when SHARK became Nancy and Andrew got Nancy pregnant. Then SHARK cried like a little baby to BigFan and the thread was deleted. It was a sad, sad day when the cold, dark hand of censorship descended on the CSFMB.
Well what's a tyrannically repressed man to do?
