I drove my brother and sister-in-law to the airport the other day and my sister-in-law giggled when Larry did his 'let's go' thing. She said that's what Ryan Seacrest does before American Idol. Is that True?? Larry ripped off Ryan freakin Seacrest?? That's gotta be a sports talk radio all-time low.

That explains why I've always had no idea why the hell he does that.

I rarely listen, but this morning's screeching involved Laurence actually wanting to punch Tyrus Thomas in the mouth behind his not passing to Rose in the backcourt late yesterday. LoHo furthered this crap by positing that Rose probably wanted to punch him. When LoHo is relegated to the Bulls beat reporter, those will be funny remarks to explain. Get your knee pads ready little guy.

I can honestly say that being a member of the Silvy and Waddle ALS has allowed me to not listen to a single minute of Hamp and Holmes. I'm not a Holmes hater, but from the complaints here on the board he's not making any new fans.

Holmes continually tries to be something he's not. He refuses to accept that he is the black "white nerd." He's kind of like that black guy from the new dance spoof movie. There's nothing wrong with that... and when he used to be himself, he came across as a pretty likeable guy, ca. Wrestlemaniacs and shortly after when he first started doing radio on his own. For some reason, it seems he wants to be Dan Bernstein. Now, for the John Madden moment of the day... only Dan Bernstein can be Dan Bernstein. It takes a Bernstein, to be a Bernstein.

how does Hamp consistantly foul up the live Chevy reads? And why are they still live? Can't they tape him?

I used to be a big fan of Holmes, before he got his own show. When he did fill in shows I really liked him. But this Hamp & Holmes shitfest is, well, shitty. I still think Lawrence could be a good co-host if paired with someone who actually sits next to him and can formulate a thought & verbalize it speaking english. Larry & Paruch might be good.
