That is the most pathetic thing I've ever heard Pappy say. Fist off, I've heard Pappy read email from listeners saying they are offended by that word. This goes back to his Wise Guy show. Secondly, how spineless does management look after allowing this for 14 years. I can picture Pappy at Pappyland putting down his bloody Marry and pulling out the big red Webster's Dictionary. Or as I'm sure Pappy calls it "Da learnin Book"

Pappy- Bebe, your not gonna beleive dis. Chinaman is wrong. It says it write here in Da learin book. As a man of integrity, I will never use dat word.

Bebe- Oh Mikey.

Pappy- (Dips Bebe and kisses her as he carry's her off to the bedroom)

Cue Sinatra music as the camera freeze frames the dumb look on Pappy's face. So ends another episode of "Da Dummy Mooners"

I heard it although I can't exactly tell you what he said, he was trying VERY hard to sound sincere which made it even funnier. I was laughin my ass off listening to it and didn't believe a word. Suprised he didn't have the BARK BARK after it

Where I come from, someone makes an apology and then someone "Accepts" the apology. Usually, when 2 mature adults go through this process, the apology is accepted based on the persons ability to not only convey the statement in words, but also to convey a true feeling of requesting foregiveness.

Mike North's apology was not only one of the worst examples of a true apology I have ever heard, but taped, poorly read and played between commercials.

Other than that, pretty sure this experiment in Mike North and His Show has run it's course.
