All righthanded lineup vs the lefty Sanchez.

I don't like having an all right handed lineup. Never seems to work out.

Ryan Theriot...

Great power hitter? Or GREATEST power hitter?

Methinks someone needs to check Theriot's balls for shrinkage.

Gregg is not impressing me.

Johnson ran down a hard hit ball in the gap to end the game today, Fukodome made a nice catch of a hard hit ball yesterday to end the game.

Other than the Cardinal game a couple weeks ago, he really hasn't had a outing where I went "that was pretty good".

I hope he has more than what he has shown this far, because if he doesn't I don't see him lasting the summer as a closer.

I know he hit another, but did he pull it to right again? My guess is that this is his adjustment to the teams going inside on him to prevent him from shooting it to right. As soon as the adjustments come again, he will begin going back to the opposite field again.

Exactly how does a right handed hitter pull one to right? :P

Against Lincecum? Yikes. He could throw a no-hitter today.

Oh shit is this ever a mail it in lineup. Why not complete it and put Hoff at 1B with Reed in the OF?
Yahoo updates only on this game. It will be too painful to listen to otherwise.

Well if you are going to sit a few people might as well sit them all. Rather have the team ready to go for division games against the Astros and Brewers.

What was the point of playing Ramirez last night and sitting him today? Why not play him today instead of last night? Or why not DL him and let him get some rest?

They figured they would ease him back into the lineup against a mediocre pitcher instead of the reigning Cy Young award winner. Again I dont have a problem with this.

If that's the logic, I would've sat him for the Giants series and had him return to the lineup tomorrow night.

I guess I got that one wrong. Gathright leads off with a single. But then Aaron Miles does his best impression of Derek Lee

You've got to feel bad for Bobby Scales. First Major League AB is against Tim Lincecum.

Yes, that will certainly make that first ML paycheck sting a little more.

He's 31, and this is his first game. He's probably so happy that we won't have time to think about it.

No. The shit-bag San Fran bullpen will need to get at least 6 outs.

Edit: I guess I forgot to figure the cubs shit-bag bullpen into the equation.
