Great episode. I think they are setting up for the big Tony / Jack showdown where Jack has to kill him. I just figured Tony was going to escape. I was surprised by that twist which is getting harder to do. Makes you wonder what side Chloe will be coming down on.

I knew that the Tony turn would probably be coming sooner or later. It seemed pretty obvious to me. But how is Jack going to kill him? He already has one foot in the grave himself. If they had a big showdown, Tony would fuck him up. Jack can barely control himself right now.

He's back in the field next hour so it would appear that he's up for the challenge, though I suspect that he'll have some flashbacks/hallucinations at the worst possible moments.

Along a similar vein, I don't think high def did Elisha Cuthbert any favors. How old is she? Mid twenties? With drawn in eyebrows? Yikes! She's hot, no doubt, but she didn't look too good last night.

Yeah,I noticed that,too. Those close-ups are brutal to most esp. in HD.
So,she left without helping her dad? what a bitch!...They threw her in so Tony could kidnap her later (i'm guessing)

I have a sinking feeling that Aaron had something to do with Hodges' death. Every time they showed the president's daughter, Aaron was always there. Now I know he's assigned to her via his Secret Service duties, but the way the show was shot made me believe Aaron was involved in the car bomb plot.

Am I alone in that train of thought?

I agree. The daughter also made that comment to Aaron a few episodes ago about wanting Jon Voight dead. I think he is definitely invloved. My other theory is that the president's husband may have been involved also. Perhaps he made a payoff to the hitman. Somebody did, and I don't think Aaron has that kind of money laying around.

Good assumption about Aaron. I didn't even think of that. They did show Jacks daughter in coming attractions,so maybe he will get his stem cell fix.

I don't see Aaron doing that...doesn't fit with the character he's been the last six and a half seasons...

That said, it sure would make for a huge twist...

Yeah I can't see that with Aaron. I think it's more likely he's going to rat her out, figuring out that she was in on it (even though she tried to back out). Not that I'm all that interested in her storyline at all.

Day 7 just ended...my thoughts...
