I'd rather see "Svengoolie" getting rubber chickens getting thrown at than seeing Bryan Adams in concert at the Oriental Theatre downtown...

Phil, I was channel surfing one night, and I saw Paul Reubens look a lot different than Pee-Wee Herman. He guest starred on a few episodes of "Murphy Brown" in the '90s with Candice Bergen, and Reubens' look paled in comparison to Pee-Wee back in the '80s. Paul had facial hair when he guest starred on that popular sitcom, just like Kyle Orton, by cracky! I can tell you after watching video of Orton with his new team, the Denver Broncos, he's no longer by cracky...  Orton has shaved off the facial hair...By the way, I giggle when Terry Boers says by cracky...

I'll take Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus for the All-Satr race.

Spanky, the All-Star Race is a NON-POINTS RACE Saturday night at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. I think the race itself is similar to the Budweiser Shootout before the Daytona 500, and it's not a traditional 400 or 500 mile race. If you tune into FOX-owned Speed, DIRECTV 607, or listen to the MRN Radio call on US 99.5, you might know what I'm referring.

One of my picks is definitely going to be Jimmy Johnson.

I'll make my 2nd pick in the normal time after conferring with Jeremy Mayfield.

WarriorDon, you don't have to make a pick this week. NASCAR's All-Star Race is A NON-POINTS RACE Saturday night. IT DOESN'T COUNT! This contest resumes next week, when the Sprint Cup guys take part in the longest race of the season, the Coca-Cola 600, at Lowe's Motor Speedway May 24th. That race matters...

SHARK, the comparison to Reubens is a bit of a stretch... even with facial hair.

No offense I hope but Reubens looks a bit like Puckhead in this photo if he would grow a mullet.
Sorry Hoffy....

I don't know how anyone can't feel embarrassed for all parties involved, I cringe whenever I hear this.

Crosscheck, it's a variation of the old B-I-N-G-O song I heard when I was a kid...

City, it's simply called "Glee", and FOX has it penciled in I believe after Cat Deeley and the "So You Think You Can Dance" results show Wednesday nights this fall. Last night was a sneak preview, but I was more interested in the Blackhawks/Red Wings and whether the White Sox could FINALLY find an offense vs. the just as awful Twins. By the way, in the promo for "Glee", I heard that puss song that got stuck in all our heads during the Southsiders' 2005 World Series title run...You know the one, circa 1981 by Journey...

Ask and you shall receive SPMAck...I would say your wish is granted long live Jambi but...

Keyser, if Joshua Fields doesn't cut down on his swing, Ozzie may have no choice but to sit the new #7 in favor of Nix and/or Gordon Beckham, once he's recalled.

I forgot about Wilson Betemit, but his defense isn't anything to write home about either...He is the answer to a trivia question involving this '09 White Sox team.

Thumbs down to me, but thumbs down to you as well, Steve...I forgot TBS showing off-network reruns of prime time shows such as "Earl" and "The Office" during the week. Unfortunately, Steve gets a thumbs down because TBS hasn't been calling itself WTBS or the "SuperStation" for many, many years. TBS simply calls itself "Very Funny"...Anyway, what I meant when I said "Earl" will soon be available in syndicated reruns, is that the show's distributor, Twentieth Television, has cut a deal with FOX-owned stations in Chicago, New York & Los Angeles, and will be rerun on those and other stations across America this fall.

Had the "common knowledge" thread existed two years ago, I would have posted how when I started at my current job, I discovered that these things actually exist...one of the facilitators at work has one, and sure enough, you push it and it says "that was easy"...
