Didn't know you were the gambling type Spaulding or I would of asked you to come along. I had a women in Vegas last year offer to blow on my dice but she wanted $500 and my room number to do that.

I 've been approached by women twice in Vegas over the years and asked if I wanted their company and I don't know wheather to be insulted as twice I've had my buddy who is grossly over weight and dressed like a slob over looked as if anyone would need a service of a hooker it would be him.

I agree with Spaulding with what he said about Harry calling out WR over drinking and driving, the guy just cared about you or the other drivers on the road. I guess if you see Harry at an event, just leave get on the road before he does.

The all seem like nice guys, but Harry on the radio seems a little phony sometimes with his opinoins and thoughts. He may not believe in something, but just says something to get the show going or bring up a topic. I remeber once after he has gambled his whole life, he says the newspapers shouldn't put the pointspreads in the paper, because it will tempt gamblers, may be true but it comes out of his mouth, and they weren't even talking about wagering.

I think the biggest on, he was when a year into the show on Memorial Day Weekend, he says I rooted for the White Sox against the Cubs. Before that, he was 100% Cubs, then all of a sudden I root for the White Sox, just because I went to more Cubs game as a kid. He has season tickets with the Cubs, loves the Cubs, say they will win the World Series every year, but oh yeah I like the Sox, just think he said it to spark conversation in the show and doesn't really like the Sox.

I don't know Harry personally but he is motivated by having good time. He has his happy thoughts and life is sunshine and roses for him. He has had an easy life and been surrounded by very successful people. While he can hang with them he really isn't one of them so he has fallen into the role of a good guy. I think he gets a little ticked off when the same respect is not shown to him. He is not a bad person but I don't think that anybody would ever think he is great. There is just no substance there. He goes where the party is and that shows when he takes rooting interests in his teams.

Ed, I love gambling. I play poker every couple months with guys from my softball team. Mostly hold em but we do some of the fun games like Black mariah, baseball, roll your own, etc to break it up too. I'll sit down at a blackjack table occasionally but the cards never fall right for me and I take too many chances. I love the one arm bandits but my favorite is craps especially when you can get a table rocking. My husband isn't always thrilled with the next day results either.

About a year ago I was at a poker game and Bob, our pitcher, was my dd for the night. He had to pour me into his car on the ride home. A cop stopped us, we got out of the ticket but I can only imagine what he thought was going on at 2 in the morning, me drunk in jammies, with a guy who could be my father and all I could do was laugh.

YOU'RE ON ... Next time I see ya remind me to tell the story about the hot smoking chick standing in front of the MGM with a cd in her hand asking me to go up to my room and give it a listen . She worked me for a good 15 minutes trying to get me to bite on this scam she had going on. I'm a sucker for a pretty face and great body but I wasn't buying what she was selling.
