Shitcan

Decent enough show during football season but even then I found the hosts, Laurence Holmes and Dan Hampton, to be hard on the ears. Hampton can't form a single coherent thought and Holmes complicates the obvious and magnifies the mundane in a manner that makes for poor radio. I've given them their due chance, but I just cannot listen to this show, and I suspect that several other CSFMB users feel the same way. Shake it up and bring these guys back during football season if you must give them airtime.

I think H&H is the biggest problem currently at 670. They've got to be losing a bulk of listeners to the infinitely more tolerable / entertaining Waddle & Silvy show at AM 1000.

Shitcan. I still cant figure out how anybody could listen to Hamp and think that he is good. WGN made the right move...Mitch Rosen made a horribly bad move.
I think Lawrence would be good with the right partner...not sure who though.

Nice guys...bad radio. I used to think Laurence was OK as a fill in but he really gets on my nerves as a host. He is trying too hard and it just sounds forced or unnatural. The two don't mesh at all.

I see Rosen with a Draft-type board sliding names around and pairing them up with no regard to chemistry. "Lets see, this guy needs a slot and we need an ex-jock to give us credibility. I'll just slap these two together."

That time slot is rendered useless as long as M&H are in the mornings. H&H are at a disadvantage being that they start an hour after waddle and silvy, not to mention they are at another disadvantage being that they are just not that talented. But that time slot would have a great chance if there were a really popular local morning show going till ten, so that people might forget about the first hour of w&s, then even if you have above average talent in the 10-12 time slot you'll automatically pick up a lot more listeners. But it would take quite the talent to beat mike and mike, even though I can't stand it, I understand that it is very popular.

In order to predict the future, one must look at the past...and when you look at some of the show pairings that Rosen has out together, it makes you wonder just how in the hell this guy has been a Program Director for 10 years. What a judge of talent, huh! Lets just hope that there is someone else with a clue who has some influence in this important decision...but I dont think there is.

I wish I could sit on a lazy boy with a mic and an isdn line and "work" (used very loosely) from home, making 4 times as much in 2 hours that our 2009 college grads will be seeing over the course of a year.....IF they can find a job, which they won't be able to.

Doug & OB was the most intersting & fun show on the Score.

Last but certainly not least, WSCR's ratings have taken a severe nosedive, getting clobbered by ESPN 1000 since the current Score regime took over. The same thing happened at AM1000 when MR was in charge there...
With his track record, how does MR survive a performance appraisal???
