I love having random thoughts about the Bears, driving around in the car or something, then realizing we have Jay Cutler at the QB position. Can't wait for the season! We have Jay Cutler!!

I have become Cutler happy. I have a jersey of course and my signature on several internet boards even not sports ones say JAY IS OUR QUARTERBACK!

It has become a running thing in the fanfiction I write that somehow I get that into the story.

I am worried about a lot of us fans. We might be very confused. A Quarterback wearing a Bears uniform. We haven't seen this before.

The sickest thing is though if in game 1 the Bears lose and Denver wins we will hear what a mistake this was (even if we lose 35-31 and it's all on the D. and Denver wins 10-7).

And I wouldn't be surprised if in Denver Chris Simms is the starter by mid season. Before we got Cutler I was interested in seeing the Bears bring him in to compete.

I even got Jay is Our Quarterback into my speech at a memorial service.

A little background. She was a major Bears fan and the last conversation we had was about how in her life she had never seen a Bears Quarterback. She passed right before Christmas (They had a funeral for her immediate family back then this was for the extended family and friends - this was my best friend's mom). She had said she has waited her life for a QB so at the end of my speech (I was actually asked to speak about her as the crazy sports fan she was) I said "And by the way, I hope you can watch football in heaven because JAY is our Quarterback!"
