Hi,
I was interested in reading what the folks on here think.
The best local (Chicago) broadcasting team.

I will vote first:

Vince Lloyd and the Good Kid (Lou Boudreau)
Vince was solid and had a great sense of humor.
Lou was Steve Stone before Steve Stone.
I miss those guys.

Second: Jack Drees & Bud Kelly-White Sox
They bring me back to a time when the SOX sucked as much as they do this year!

Pappy, aren't you forgetting someone on MY50's coverage of our Major League Soccer team? Chris Doran is Fred's analyst...

Gotta go Larivee and whoever else did the Bears games with him. The guy sets the stage as well anyone ever. Great voice as well.

As far as news, it's a dead heat between Bill Kurtis & Walter Jacobson back in the day broadcasting CBS2's "THE TEN O'CLOCK NEWS" from an actual newsroom in the '70s, and when Ron Magers & Carol Marin did NBC5 News until the whole Jerry Springer "commentating" fiasco in 1997. As far as sports, there's no doubt Pat Foley & Dale Tallon providing the descriptions of the Blackhawks, plus Jim Durham & Johnny "Red" Kerr calling the Bulls on BOTH TV & radio stood out.
