Assuming he had a 1 year deal and I think he started in October of last year? If anything I would think they got to keep Dan around during Bears season, especially after the dismissal of Doug Buffone? Not having an ex Bear talking Bears football is like having a cooking show without a chef.

Beardown, I believe you are correct about "Stuttering" John Melendez, I mean Dan Hampton's, contract... I think his deal included doing postgame shows on WBBM 780 & the Chicago Bears Radio Network working with the very boring & dull Ron Gleason along with another former Bear in Jay Hilgenberg in addition to his duties wrecking middays on The SCORE with LoHo.
