This is a must for anyone who wants a good time chomping popcorn, wanting a good time at the movies.
Sam Raimi just damn delivers. When I saw he and his brother wrote the script, I felt giddy. These guys know how to write a horror script, and Sam is right back in the saddle again. I've. Missed. You. Pal.
The movie packs some creepy scenes; some imagery that will haunt you--some imagery that will make you want to puke. Some imagery will want to make you burst into laughter.
But all in all, it's 99 minutes of sheer delight. Any horror moviegoer MUST put this on their list to see. It's weird, Alison Lohman reminds me so much of my lawyer ladyfriend...hm.
Anyway, you will laugh, you'll be entertained. It's an all around good time; fun film. This is what the summer's all about. And Sam Raimi? Welcome home. Welcome back, pal. I've missed ya.

Truth be told; the *only* reason this didn't get 4 stars was because some of the stuff Raimi does *has* been done before in the Evil Dead series. I can't give him a total pass here. I know he's using old schtick, I have to call him out on it. But other than that, it is APPOINTMENT MOVIE GOING.
