So apparently the Score now has to play these "670 The Score, Chicago's Sports Station" liners coming in and out of every break. Considering the hosts identify themselves and the station already, why is this necessary? With PPMs, it's not like you need to know at all times which station you just heard so you can write it in your diary. It's kinda obnox.

I first started hearing it Friday night when the Ranger held court on "Comcast Feedback Zone Live"...It's short, sweet and to the point, or so it sounds. I just wish the SCORE's hosts would be more uniform, or if the big voiceover guy would add the show's host(s) and then "670 The SCORE. Chicago's Sports Station". I know that Russ Mitera, the longtime Production Director, has custom made bumpers whenever Zach Zaidman is hosting local sports talk. I don't mind it.

It just seems redundant to me when the host already says "on Chicago Sports Radio 670 The Score" in the outro and then you have that immediately followed by the liner that says "Sports Radio 670 The Score, Chicago's Sports Station" which isn't even the same tagline that Boers, Bernstein, and others are using, diluting exactly what the line is supposed to be. I wish I got paid to work in a skyscraper and have bad ideas. Usually I'm able to work from home and have bad ideas. I wanna move downtown, is all.

Not everybody's uniform on The SCORE, Curious. You've got Bernstein & Matt Rodewald who refer to it as "WSCR...The SCORE", LoHo calling it WSCR 670 The SCORE, Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch, Zach Zaidman, Mike Mulligan & Brian Hanley referring it as "Chicago's Sports Radio 670 The SCORE", plus Jason Goff & Matt Abbatacola referring as "SportsRadio 670 The SCORE". You get the idea...
