pizza_Place: I'm a Gelsosomo's guy.
After the latest ratings book, I don't think that there is any doubt at to whether Mac is going to the Score or not - I think it's simply a matter of how much and what timeslot.

Having Mac off the air for two of the three booking months and STILL getting wiped clean by CJH? This screams out for WSCR to shake it up and bring in a big name, much as Teddy G intimates in his latest article.

I don't think it will be near the price of his last contract but I think it will be somewhere in the 3 year range and maybe a couple hundred - just speculation.

Maybe they did better because Mac was gone? Mac lost the last time he was on.

You mean the Celtics-gear-wearing douchebag and the stuttering fool who are getting clobbered in the ratings? Yeah, ballsy move to replace those two. Talk about expendable.

I think Mac will sign with the Score and should be in the Afternoons,Murph should go back to evenings.Berstein should be in the mornnings and Terry should stay retired.
I would pair Hanley and Berns in the mornning...6-10.
Brian Paruch and Jason Goff............................10-2
Mac and Terry (for now)...................................2-6.
Murph (because he does have a loyal following) dont know why he does, but he does. 6-10.

Not sure about that one. First I don't think this is a good pairing. Second I don't think Bernstein would be at his best in a morning format.

No surprise that Silvy and Waddle had such good numbers. It is now (IMO) the best sports talk show in town. I thought the saloon (with Mac) was the best. But without Danny Mac, this is decidedly the top show now.

I agree. IMO, he'd be at his best frozen in carbonite.

Crosscheck, do you envision Mac replacing "Hampton & Holmes" along with "Murph" middays? I don't...I think SCORE management moves "Boers & Bernstein" back to middays to accommodate Mac where he belongs in afternoon drive, if they sign him...

If mac does get a job, I don't think it would be for a two hour time-slot. And i think Murph and Hampton & Holmes would be more movable/replaceable than B&B, but that's just my opinion. Despite being beaten in that last ratings, I still think that B&B does well enough for its time slot.

If Mac signs on at the SCORE, he's not doing morning drive or middays...

wrong bitch

(I've been waiting for this one SHARK)

I didn't know this douchebag still had a show until I saw a ceremony at the Central Michigan Universiy Spring Football Game honoring him for some broadcasting award he won. Apparently Bill is a CMU alumn and was an honorary coach for the game.
