I was trying to google info on Mac coming to the score and found this guy Marty's blog. Is this our very own Martin? Sounds like him. He wrote a blog on Mac and responded to a poster about Larry. A lot of it we've said.

My main gripe is with Laurence Holmes, who I don’t believe makes an excellent host. I thought he was a good Bears beat reporter, but now-a-days, in my opinion, he comes across as an arrogant Dan Bernstein wannabe. The problem, Laurence does not have the smarts of a Bernstein. Second, Holmes by nature is rather nerdy.

With Holmes, he’s either attempted to be the cool party-it-up black guy who scores with white women, or he comes across as this serious acting, no-nonsense kind of guy who things everyone else is beneath him. Both personalities are him trying to be someone he is not. I admit, I have not listened to the Hampton & Holmes show a whole lot, but through the last seven or eight years, I have heard him solo plenty of times. When he first started out, I liked him, when he was himself - a fun and geeky personality. There is nothing wrong with that.

I don't know who marty is but his description is right on target.

You'd think with all the help I have tried to throw the guy I would get a link on Martys place? Dissed again!

LoHo started brandishing his "nerdiness" in the last couple-three years after hanging as a cohost with Bernstein and Lupe Fiasco hitting the mainstream and making it cool to be a nerd. I can't wait to hear a report about Loho riding his skateboard to an old record store to pick up some Dean Martin tunes and hooking up with a hot white woman there.

Welcome to his Fantasy Island. In reality, he gets the skanks, why would a hot white woman go for LoHo?! EOM.

Yeah, that is me.

Bigfan, I used to have a link to Redacted... I changed Wordpress templates about a month ago and had to re-add my links and well...

My last altercation with Moose and Rocko must have left some bad taste in my mouth while renewing my annual dues (viewtopic.php?f=77&t=6066).

You know what would have made this show even better (worse)? Even more stories about Loho. Can there ever be enough stories of what Loho watched the night before or what store Loho was going to after the show or what Loho had for dinner the night before or Loho on channel 5.....blah, blah, blah.....

Finally, the Score will be on my entire work day.

Arrogant and an asswipe, yes. Smart, I don't think so.
