This from the Naperville Sun police report:

Disorderly conduct: About 11 p.m., woman answered front doorbell of home at 1040 Buckingham Drive and found insulting note attached to can of diet soda pop left on porch.

So is the person who anonymously insults with a can of diet pop or the person who wastes police time with stupid shit a douche?

Can we safely assume that our complainant is a fatty?

I actually kinda like the idea of an anonymous insult on someone's porch.

It's events like this that really make me feel sorry for the police. Their time is wasted having to go to some woman's house to handle a complaint like this. Unless the note said something like, "Im going to kill you fat bitch!" there is no reason to call the PoPo.

Now if the cop is a major tool, I don't feel sorry for him in this situation. I hope he gets about 20 of these calls a day.

Yes but was it an insult or attempted murder?
P.S. eventually i tried to feed the raccoons with them but they wouldn't eat them.

They could've been weed brownies though. I think you missed an opportunity there.

Factually speaking they were cupcakes. You don't see weed cupcakes often.

Maybe you don't.

The Quality of Leadership
Anyone over at Patrol Division want to revamp the 911 priority systems for taking calls yet?
HARRISON LIFER SAID:

HEY SCC, WANT A GREAT LAUGH????

Pull up event # 0915204186. It's a job dispatched to Bt. 922 on 01 June 09 @ 0836 hrs.

For those of you reading this at home, unable to check this job out via PCAD OR PDT, allow me to provide you with a brief synopsis...

A certain clout-heavy Lt. (WITH a take-home car) calls 911 to report that she is unable to get into her unmarked police vehicle because...ready??? HERE'S THE GOOD PART...her neighbor's sprinkler is spraying water on it!

This is the type of leadership guiding what was once the most respected police department in the nation.

What kind of idiot can't figure out AT LEAST a few different ways to solve this problem on their own? You know, maybe slide in the door on the opposite side of the vehicle? Maybe turn the neighbor's hose off? Maybe aim the sprinkler away from your car?

But to call 911 and have such bullshit take up time and resources is inexcusable...especially when the origin of such bullshit is a Lt. of police. Absolutely fucking pathetic. Pull up the job for the Lt's name. The call-taker misspelled her last name, but it ends with "cua".

Hey JFED? You want to know why the majority of lowly blue shirts DON'T respect their "bosses"? Look into shit like this and you'll see exactly what we deal with on a daily basis.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say "merit" might have something to do with the good Lt.'s thought process/problem-solving skills.

911 for a sprinkler disturbance. Classic. We await the forthcoming gunplay.

I'm gonna say that most citizens have been inundated with the idea that 9-1-1 is the number to call for any and every thing. People believe a crime is being committed and they want it reported. But as you can see, some people think everything can be considered a crime and that it needs to be immediately addressed

Mike Greenberg told a story on the air in 2001 or so about how one morning when he was on the way to the studio he got a flat tire. He called 911 and was told by the operator that 911 is only for emergencies. When he called AAA or whatever and the tow truck driver told him how long it would be before he'd be there, Greenberg said "Would it make any difference if I told you I was on the way to do my radio show on ESPN?" and the driver said "Not to me."

Not that I held Mike Greenberg in high esteem at that point, but after that I thought he was a selfish little bitch.

He told that story on the air?! Change the fucking tire! He loses his man-card.
