This from the Naperville Sun police report:

Disorderly conduct: About 11 p.m., woman answered front doorbell of home at 1040 Buckingham Drive and found insulting note attached to can of diet soda pop left on porch.

So is the person who anonymously insults with a can of diet pop or the person who wastes police time with stupid shit a douche?

Can we safely assume that our complainant is a fatty?

It's events like this that really make me feel sorry for the police. Their time is wasted having to go to some woman's house to handle a complaint like this. Unless the note said something like, "Im going to kill you fat bitch!" there is no reason to call the PoPo.

Now if the cop is a major tool, I don't feel sorry for him in this situation. I hope he gets about 20 of these calls a day.

Mike Greenberg told a story on the air in 2001 or so about how one morning when he was on the way to the studio he got a flat tire. He called 911 and was told by the operator that 911 is only for emergencies. When he called AAA or whatever and the tow truck driver told him how long it would be before he'd be there, Greenberg said "Would it make any difference if I told you I was on the way to do my radio show on ESPN?" and the driver said "Not to me."

Not that I held Mike Greenberg in high esteem at that point, but after that I thought he was a selfish little bitch.
