I was laughing my ass off when Harry asked Jay Glazer how he can be inpartial in reporting on guys that he MMA trains during the offseason.

Simple Harry, he's not an ASS kisser like you!

Harry is CONSTANTLY making excuses for and complimenting his 'off field' buddies such as Steve Trachsel, Carol Slezak and any other number of media and sports types.

It's called INTEGRITY champ!

It's called conflict of interest champ. A person with the highest integrity may find himself subconsciously biased in favor of a person in whom he has a stake financially.

As much as I hate to admit it, Harry has a point.

So I guess Jurko shouldn't participate in any interviews with Holmgren, Coughlin or former teammates, as he's 'friendly' with them.

Hang up on yourself.

ACE!

Hey sport, there is a huge difference between having an economic benefit tied to a person success and mere friendship with a person.

Now go put on this little white cone hat and sit in the corner.

I have more faith in Jay Glazer being unbiased than Harry (I'll pimp anything, anybody and anyplace if I can benefit) Teinowitz.

Does he train with fighters or are you saying he has some sort of financial investment in them? And which fighters in particular?

He doesn't train WITH them, he trains them, for money, as part of a new investment venture. The more publicity the players get, the more publicity his training company gets. Therefore, it is in his best interest to report on players that train with him and to report only favorable stories.

It does not matter whether it actually alters his reporting in any way, the conflict is present....like when Bruce Levine reports on the Cubs while also being an employee of Vineline....or when any reporter from the Tribune reports on the Cubs (you could probably even extend the conflict to reporting on the Sox).

Now, I am not a reporter, but I think ethics in that industry state that it is OK to have a conflict as long as the conflict is disclosed in the report. Maybe Glazer will disclose, maybe not. Bruce certainly does not.

Like Kiefer Sutherland in A Few Good Men, I only have faith in the Lord God and Jesus Christ His Son.

Like Kiefer Sutherland, are you drunk out of your gourd also?

I have faith in me, myself and I.

I didn't know that about Glazer. I asked because its not uncommon for lots of guys to train with MMA fighters just for the hell of it without having a financial stake in them. But, if you say he is doing the training then I agree that would be a conflicit, especially since success in MMA is very much tied into the team you train with.

Does anyone know specifically which fighters he trains and if he has written articles about them?

Maybe Glazer is just auditioning future "pros" for "Pros vs Joes."

Does that have something to do with the next season of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike? I heard there were going to be a few former NFL players on the next season. If he's just training them for that, I don't see much of a conflict since its just for a reality show in which most of the guys aren't going to amount to anything after the show is done anyway.

Maybe he's just training them so they have the basics down for the tv show.

IF that's the case I don't see a problem with it and I'm a HUGE UFC fan, have seen every card since about UFC 40.

Did you guys catch Harry TOTALLY making excuses for and kissing the ass of his Martin Nissan buddy Derrick Rose at 5PM today.

Talk about somebody who can't be unbiased.

THIS is the essence of why I found it funny that Harry (OF ALL PEOPLE) was questioning Jay Glazer's integrity.
