I actually enjoyed the night time Me Show back in the day. Larry gets to be himself and not try to be a "serious sportsradio guy" I like the move.

(although I would have preferred Matty and Jason)

Meh, I prefer Paruch. Doesn't matter much as the Sox will be on 3-4 times a week during this slot anyway.

Yeah, Paruch's my pick of the three (over ZZ and LH). As much as I couldn't stand H&H, when Larry's on his own it's definitely more listenable.

dammit, i wish he would have gone back to the bears as a beat reporter. I can not stand listening to the ginger. I also guess this means murph is gone. As bad as murph was in his old time slotl, I wouldnt mind listening to him talk baseball at night and on the weekends.

I rarely listen from 6-10 so I'm happy.

I am not a big listener on this time slot but they could do a lot worse than
Lawrence. Not his biggest fan but I have listened to him for extended
periods when he was on during the weekends and I thought he was ok.
The Score just solidified local sports talk for 17 hrs a day. That is pretty
impressive if you ask me. Better than "the mouse".

For me, anyway, 6-10 PM is for actually watching the sports events, not listening to more talk about them.

That was before the SCORE got the White Sox radio rights, P.C., and while the sports talker also had the rights to the Blackhawks until this past season.

the demise of the score correlates directly with the signing of the whitesox.

If I remember, the first hour of LoHo's "Me Show" started with "The Pulse"...I'm not sure what Laurence has planned for his return show this eve on SportsRadio 670.

It really does not. I see the demise linked to two events, the sale to CBS and Pappy talking the station into breaking up the Monsters and HFC.

I hate "The Pulse" all as we get is Larry reiterating the point 10 times. Last night 25 minutes and a commercial break before he opened up the lines for callers. The man loves to hear himself think.

"The Pulse" is a perfect example of a host over-reaching to have a staple for his show. You don't need a segment name for people to call in about random sports topics.
