THIS!!

For me, I 'tolerated' the afternoon saloon. It was hard to endure listening to Jurko and Harry, but I did it at times to listen to Mac. Show sounds entertaining so far.

Well, at least they got a good drop with that first idiot caller. "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!"
What a putz.
But it has potential.

Most B&B listeners know the sound effect played after Gary in Evanston calls in for "Who You Crappin?". I wanted to play that sound effect after Spiegel's rant on the Cubs.

Mac just made some comments on the old job. While he may make some rips later, I thought it was pretty classy the way he handled it.

Love it and it sounds great to hear Spiegs on the air.

Refresh me here but I don't remember Mac's old show being as caller intensive as today's show has been ??? Is it s Score thing to be more caller intensive or ESPN had a different scope of how things should be done. Without sounding dopey , I still miss the old show .

I think there is a 5-6 minute commercial break for B&B.

Yes. Plus the 25-minute-long sports updates prior to the show coming back on.

There should be a law against that tinnitus commercial.

The commercial itself would give you tinnitus. I had to mute my speakers.

Business as usual at the Score. Way more commercials than actual content, its always been that way. Ever listened to the B&B show? They can't even complete a sentence without going to a commercial break or at least a sponsor read.

My personal favorite is when they come back from a long commercial break, talk for about 35 seconds and then go to another long commercial break.

Typically, every hour between the 40 minute and 60 minute mark is 95% commercials.

I agree..........God Murphy was the worst with the "live reads".......But what Radio stations have to relize is that Im in my car,not going out to buy "viagra" or go to a "strip club" or pull over and see "How much it would cost me " to get out of debt........GEEEEEZZZZZZZ!!!
Run your comercials in a timely manner Mac and do sports talk without all the "live reads" and freaking sponsors!!!
In AM radio losing listners equals "too many commercials".......

About halfway through the first hour. I like the tone of the show.
Podcast rocks, they had it up 10 minutes after the first hour was
complete. NO commercials is a nice perk as well.

People have low expectations for Meatpants because Harry and Jurko were/are so bad. It's easy to clear a hurdle when it is set half an inch above the ground.

Ok , I have to agree with you guys this fucking commerical thing is turning me off !! I 've listened to more of Slivy and Waddle in between commericals than I have Mac's show. This has to be addressed and segment the commericals shit out or cut bigger blocks like Stern used to when he was relivent. Block off 5 to 10 minutes an hour, run you're spots and do a 50 minute in an hour show.

Mac's shows at 1000 flowed as they either had shorter spots and didn't promo the fuck out of other shows. Cut the updates to 1 time an hour or not at all.I do "NOT" need updates unless it's breaking news.

And I broke the WEBIO story to Mac and Slappy friday night

Mac bringing "who do you love" to the score. Takes a couple shots at his former teammates for not coming up with their own bits.
