Berns said he feels bad for the young guys, and thats it. I agree with Berns. I'm glad North got screwed. Like Berns said, he is the one that always says how street smart he is, well he got taken. He should have been able to spot that.

I think "Bernsy" meant guys like Matt Weber & Tim Doyle who were relatively new to the Chicago sports talk scene, and I thought "Webby" was starting to make a name for himself on weekend afternoons on SportsRadio 670 following several DePaul basketball losses. Meanwhile, Webio thought they made a big splash with the hirings of Doug Buffone & Ed O'Bradovich to host their Bears' postgame this football season.

I feel bad for Chester - I've always been a fan of his since he WAS sports radio in this town in the 80s. And I just got the sense that the guy bought too many fur coats over the years and the bank account is hurting a little.

He won't get a shot anywhere else, this is probably it for him.

I think he was talking more or less about Weber, and a lot of the young producers (Goffman, Bock) that went over there from the Score. Tim Doyle will be alright, as he still has the big ten network to fall back on.

Why would you feel bad for anyone involved? David Hernandez was a convicted felon - how can you take the huge career risk of leaving a legitimate media outlet without doing your homework on the key figures involved???

Ike, I have to say, I believe you are telling the truth in your mind as stupidity of your magnitude is hard to fake.

But once again, you have the right and the arena to say it here all day.

God Bless America
