For those interested.... the new band has two Southside shows next week.

Wednesday at Quigley’s, 4010 W 111th St in Oak Lawn (111th and Pulaski, the old Reilly's Daughter).

Thursday at Game Time Sports Grill and Pub, at 6405 W 127th St in Palos Heights (127th and Ridgeland Ave).

Hope to see some of you kids out and about. I'll buy the first round of Miller Lite.

I believe its on the corner of the Domincks parking lot. If Im correct. Usually a busy place anytime I would drive past it.

Teelander, it's not that unusual. I would have favored Boys Town...excuse me... Wrigleyville... but there are peeps who take the day off to bend elbows all over Chicagoland for these tilts. Plus... all stations are directed by the beer companies.

Quigley's is a good place for a remote with a stage inside and a nice sized parking lot. Pretty decent burgers as well.

Pride parade is actually hysterical. Who knew a Gay and Lesbian Heavy Metal assoc or bowling league existed. The SCORE should have a float in it one year, TB, DaNmanee, Mulli yellng to the people.. Dahl was there one year on top of that huge Jewel shopping cart.

Tips for attending such an event for hetero Males.
1. Make sure you bring a female, keep your arm around her and wear a "I AM NOT GAY" T shirt.
2. I have never attended such event streetside. Balconies and rooftops along the parade route ONLY. No exceptions, it's dangerous out there.
3. Get to your destination early, they shut down the streets and walking is even dangerous.
4. Be prepared to stay for at least 1 hour after the end of the parade until streets are cleared.
5. Do not be shocked if you see that one guy that sits inthe corner of the office all quiet, running down Halsted in a thong.
6. If you are gay, disregard points 1-5

about 5 years ago, sitting at the start or the ceremony (on a balcony as I said) on Diversey and Dick Durbin comes down in the convertible to the chanting of "WE WANT DICK, WE WANT DICK." At least they have a sense of humor.

if they were, gloopy, i'm guessing that'd be about 125 k more than you're getting for a lot more than 100 appearances. keep on tryin' pallie... you'll get a key to the men's room one day.

I'll stop by the Quigleys, as I live 30 seconds away. Cubs hat and my CTU shirt so you'll know who I am.

I'm thinking of the Quigley's one. I'd have to leave at about noon though.

Wouldn't it be a little easier if you just wore a 24 t-shirt, Jack?

Both of these are about 5 minutes from where I work

I should be able to make at least one of them. I missed the times, I assume they're just during the regular show hours?

I haven't been to a remote in awhile. Maybe I can talk to Mac about the NBA

I'm going to be there at 900.

May have to take off to make a run for work, then I'd come back.

Will bring the GF, she likes seeing men together with other men.

(and a good reason to drink in the morning, she works 3rd shift, BTW)
