Scandal is putting it lightly. As much as I like the concept, and I do disagree with your comment of high costs and limited audience, I believe this company is in trouble. I did not want to provide a positive review for them to showcase during this so I pulled it.

Hernandez is obviously not the leader that CWS needs and unless North can get control back and pull leadership miracles the company will not get back on track and is as good as done.

Even the best idea, strongest concept, or revolutionary idea can NOT survive poor leadership and unethical behaviour. I am watching with great interest.

You've deemed it "revolutionary" and yet those of us who follow Chicago Sports and sports media saw this venture as a failed effort from the begining. As I read your initial piece I thought you might be on Dave Hernandez's payroll. I read nothing that looked at the setup with a critical eye. Everything I read from you made this venture out to be something we should be investing money into because it is so wonderful and without fault.

I would defend you if your statements in support of Webio were more thought out and supported with evidence that could counter critical opinions of it. There were a number of questionable things involved with Webio from the start, yet you praised this effort and seemed to trumpet its effort rather than its actual effect. Please look more in depth into issues before making opinions.

It has been reported that Dan Patrick (a nationally-known sports talk host) gets 40,000 hits per day on his site. He's on the terrestrial stations, but simulcasts. For a national personality to only get 40,000 hits per day, that tells you something.

Chicago has WSCR and WMVP, two well-entrenched stations that both stream. If I recall the statistics correctly, they collectively get 40,000 or fewer listeners on average per quarter hour, plus their web audiences. Webio would have to get its audience from this pool - might get some out-of-staters, but the base is here.

That's really not that large of an audience.
