Dan, I know you were exploring every avenue before signing with the SCORE. You have hinted that you did speak to cswebio. I would love to read your views of that process in light of recent events. Did the place seem legit?

It was addessed on his show yesterday and he did meet with the folks at the Webio and he explained it seemed legit. I didn't think this Webio thing had a chance for several reasons and 1 being all the talent were pretty much has beens and or never beens and more over it was web based which only seems to work with people with computers oddly enough.

Mac mentioned yesterday that he met with Hernandez for about 90 minutes.

At the end of the meeting, did Hernandez ask Mac if he wanted to buy any guaranteed 12 percent per quarter securities?

Mac-

how about offman, Chet and that genius Hood. Those idiots are out in the cold now with no job, probably no benefits (until COBRA from their old job runs out on their sorry asses) and now they have to go skating around to any media outlet that might hire them, hat in hand, with a desire to take any contract at pretty much any price (which is obviously not much in this media market).

would love to hear your .02 on this stuff

I guess due diligence is in order when you leave a paying, established gig, for some fly by night venture run by a thrice bankrupt soon to be convicted felon sold to you buy a blowhard who was able to bullshit his schtick into a high paying gig.

I wouldn't call George, Hood and Chet "IDIOTS".

I don't thnk Hood or Chet were 'full time' employees, or getting any benefits from ESPN. If they were offered double or triple the salary they'd usually be paid, why not take that chance?

George falls under the same category, and he probably saw the writing on the wall when Fred was let go. Plus George enjoyed being the baseball beat reporter, and probably felt being 'an update guy' only was beneath him.

I feel Mac is old school - he wanted to be ON THE RADIO - reaching the masses - in the car, in the garage, background noise in the place of work. That wouldn't be the case coming through a computer.

If I was pondering leaving a paying gig to join a suspect at best organization run by a guy I'd never heard of, I'd do my own background check. That's just me though, I'm funny that way.
