This idea blows my fucking mind. Are you seriously writing a business and telling them not to employ somebody you hate? Think about that. Better yet, say it out loud and tell me you don't feel like a fucking psychopath. Further... go tell a loved one that you plan to write a TV station and tell them not to employ somebody because that is easier than ignoring a single TV channel for 3 hours in the morning when you are probably already at work. Honestly, this is the beginning step of a process that ends up with you breathing heavily outside his residence watching him sleeping.

This is fucking insane. I can't even believe I am reading this. I hate plenty of people on radio, in print, on TV and in Movies... but I can't even FATHOM the idea of approaching any of those businesses and telling them not to hire somebody. I JUST DON'T LISTEN, READ OR WATCH THE PERSON I DON'T LIKE. Doesn't that make sense... am I just missing something obvious here?

Thank you for saying what I have been saying for weeks. Wierd cretins who sit around sending e-mails to media outlets to tell them that they hate a show host are societies bottom feeders. I really dont understand the strange obsession with someone you hate. I mean to repeatedly focus your time and efforts on someone you dislike is not my idea of time well spent or fun for that matter.
For God sake, get a freaking life!

Honestly, I hate this word... but this is borderline retarded. Unreal.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything Chris has said in this thread. Each one of us occasionally goes through a period where our "methods are unsound". Sometimes we all need a swiftboat sent up the river to bring us back.

Didn't say you didn't have the right to do it, nor the right to hate him. I don't give a fuck who you hate. That's your business. I don't even care if you complain about him and hate him on here. That's the whole point of this place.

But you don't find it creepy as hell that you would take the time to write a station and tell them to fire a guy who you could simply ignore for the rest of your life? You would rather get him to lose his job, than just ignore him? If his existence really has that effect on you, that's EXTREMELY sad. Hate the guy all you want, but writing the station is fucking weird as hell. It's scary, actually. Real scary.

And full disclosure: I'm not a North backer. I'm not a huge fan, but I don't hate him. I do hate PLENTY of people in the media but it just chills my bones to think people could care about a radio host this much. Very creepy.

If he's a consumer of the product then he most definitely has a right to write the company and voice his concerns about the product they are putting out.

Remember, a radio job is a privilege, not a right.

But if he hates him so much why is he consuming the program?

My god guys. I'm no stalker but I see n reason why a person cannot send an email of displeasure to a company they are not happy with. I actually like Comcast but if there is a virus there that affects my viewership, I'll tell them about it. I'll also tell their advertisers. They can choose to ignore it, respond with a thank you, or can his ass. I know litle ol me wont make a difference but I feel better knowing I did something. Most people sit and watch things happen. I prefer to be proactive.

ONCE AGAIN- Mike North is a piece of shit. I wish bad things for bad people. I wish really bad things for really bad people. Make no mistake about it. Some people give to charities and dont have to tell anyone. North doesnt do shit for any charities ands tell everyone he does. Thats one reason why I hate that fucker among many other reason. Mike North deserves every bad thing that happens.

FUCK HIM and all his defenders!

I truly question whether you read through the thread or not. Reading is a skill.

Once again, in my line of business, customer feedback is king. I honestly probably value customer feedback more than anyone on the board. It's what I do. I get how feedback works.

HOWEVER, my point is SID's 'feedback' is driven by his hatred for North, not his hope for a better CSN. There is a HUUUGGEEE difference there.

And obviously a big issue you have with North is the fact that he talks about and brags that he helps charities. So instead of ignoring him and letting him help charities, you would rather him be fired which effectively hurts the charities he helps? Makes sense.

I'm starting to realize that many of you are truly taken over by your hatred of North. Kind of sad, really. But obviously it is intoxicating.

As hateful as SID is, I like the guy. He brings incredible consistency and warm memories of the Board's version of Cuban missile crisis.

And I don't dislike anyone for hating North... they have the right to do whatever the hell they want. I just think it's interesting as hell. And somewhat creepy...
