North may have prejured himself under questioning he has already undergone (although it wouldn't officially be perjury as he likely wasn't under oath).

But this means the federales have to bring him back in and ask him the questions about when did you meet? How long have you known him? were you aware he did time? Knowing that why didn't you blow the whistle when checks started bouncing? why did you let the young guys checks bounce FOUR or more times without doing anything? As an officer and director of the company did you not realize your duty to inform authorities of fraudulent practices upon becoming aware of them? Do you now, or have you ever considered Tom Shaer a friend? With all of the damage you have done to yourself why do you think Mr. Shaer would come out of the anonymity of his current life to expose your lies regarding not having known anything about this man that you have had in your home and known for 13 or more years? It is pretty obvious that guys like Shaer and Coppock know that the sun has set on their broadcast careers and in that last attempt to grab the microphone and see their faces on TV or in the papers they are singing like songbirds. The more scintillating the facts the better because more people want to talk to you...Coppock now has the pitiable washed-up broadcaster-who-would-rather-slash-his-wrists-than-have-to-resort-to-selling-insurance routine down. Shaer is the random firebomber with the molotov cocktail that blows North's cover to bits. They crave the attention, it'll be over soon enough and then...nothing. But at least they got one more moment in the sun. That explains Chet and Tom.

As far as North goes, he just literally can't help himself. His gigantic (and woefully uninformed) ego tells him that he can manage perceptions by talking everyone, including the federales, into believing whatever tale he wants to spin. In actuality, we all sit here, federales included, amused at the headless chicken running at the mouth....until someone decides enough is enough and brings Mikey in for the come to Jesus talk. Words like accessory, aiding and abetting, accomplice, unindicted co-conspirator, dirty rotten liar seep into the conversation and the thick-headed jester finally begins to understand that this could mean disgorgement...or worse...and certainly that he is toast in this town forever. Comcast has to distance itself from this pariah and soon....it'll be hard to defend this at corporate when it really blows up.

That's one of the things that's so fucking funny about this. We all make what we think are our litle jokes and satires and I'll be damned if in the next 24 or 48 hours all our shit comes true. North is truly a cartoon character. Unfortunately, you have to step back every now and then and realize how many people's lives and money he and Hernandez have screwed with.

I am not trying to burst your guy's bubble or anything but North is not going to jail, unless the SEC or FBI can prove that he either helped DH with coming up the 11 mil ponzi scheme, actively recruited investors for the scheme, or knew the money for Webio was coming from the ponzi scheme, which would be very hard to prove. Even by knowing Hernandez in 1996 and lying about not knowing him in interviews is not going to send him to jail. This may cost him his job, friends from CSW and his career but jail will not happen. Madoff's wife and kid's did work with him and took million's and millions from Madoff and they aren't in any trouble. I could be completely wrong and this is not defending North, just based off my knowledge of this sort of thing, nothing will happen as far as criminal charges go. Civil and class action lawsuits are another story.

His career being over and everyone knowing that he's a lying POS would suit me just fine.

BTW, they are now going after Bernie's kids.
