and this is why pappy is full of shit, said yesterday he was done talking about it, but yet, he was on the radio and tv yesterday. Today he rips shaer, he can help himself and with every word and weak comment, it makes me think he is hiding something.

i didnt hear it, but i wonder if he ripped shaer for pappy getting a mortage through hernandez and then claiming not knowing the guy..lol. Pappy hates one thing, the truth.

I agree with you about Sherman. I think he feels North and Hernandez used him and he's embarrassed. I'll bet the folks at Crain's climbed all over him after those columns last week blew up.

I don't get the show here but I can guess North said something to the effect about Shaer "towelhead motherfucker".

So it was someone elses job to let pappy know about DH. Here is what is becoming clear.

1. pappy knew everything about DH.

2. pappy didnt give a hoot about anyone but himself in the webio venture.

3. he is starting to beleive his own lies.

In Sherman's column he said North "emailed" him. Thought he didn't do email

It is must read stuff. I think we should put to get a list of the lies this POS has been spewing lately.

So why didn't Mike address Tom's claims DH was at a party at Mike house in 96'??

I think he probably had an idea of what type of guy Hernandez is but maybe not the full picture. I also think North was arrogant enough to believe that Hernadez wouldn't screw him over because they were acquaintances or he thinks he is smarter than he is. He had no idea this would happen.

No worries, I was just trying to make a joke at the deceased webio's expense. As in it's ironic that the one time I'd actually want to hear a webio podcast is on the story of its downfall.

I would be very surprised if he didn't know that Hernandez did time for wire fraud. Pappy knew him before he did time and then resumed a relationship with him after Hernandez got out.

To me the bigger question now is to what extent was Pappy deceiving the talent he was recruiting from the Score. Why, for instance, did Weber believe Pappy was a 30% owner of the Webio business? Was North trying to present a facade of legitimacy to the enterprise so prospective employees wouldn't look too hard at Hernandez? Everyone knows Pappy has real money. Not many people know that much about Hernandez.

1) You know that he had the guy over at his house at a SCORE gathering that probably include "talent" and listeners. Remember, Pappy had something at Pappyland back in the day. You also know he was a loan officer at a bank. Those two points indicate no other knowledge of Hernandez' dealings. Shaer himself, would not have known had he not sought a loan at a later date and learned Hernandez was fired.

2) Mike set his friends up with jobs in a time of great need for most of them. He gave them money when he was not obliged to do so. I think cared.

If this guy was a sportsradio groupie, and if North is a wanna be gangsta, I can't imagine that Hernandez didn't play out the "Well, you know I'm a wiseguy..." on North, because that would be the one quick way to gain his "confidence", as con men are apt to doing. It's how I would do it.
