Oh my God. They interviewed North and Bebe at their home. Bebe said she and Mike were victims Bebe said Hernandez ignored them when the checks went bad. They showed North with a straw in his mouth. He didn't talk. Only Bebe.

I just saw it as well. I think it was a straw, actually.

Also caught on NBC5 this North line: "He's on the LAM, but he's very cunning...". That cracked me up.

Did ABC 7 do a story yet? It might have been going on while I was watching 2 and 5.

The FOX girl is the only one reporting that Hernandez has 67k in his bank accounts. 11 million down to 67k? How much cash do you think Hernadez has on him as he runs? How much does he have in a Swiss bank account?

Now the Norths acknowledge they got their mortgage 14 years ago from Hernandez's former bank before he was convicted, but say they had no dealings with him until this recent venture and didn't know he was a convicted felon. And they say he deserves to be punished

People are drawing lines between points. You got a loan from the guy 15 years ago, he's been to your house for a party or two, you probably know him. You hook up with him for a MAJOR business venture, and it's probably not by accident. North contradicts himself every time he opens his mouth. The fact that he's already been caught in numerous lies concerning these issues is enough for people to doubt the legitimacy of anything Mike North says or does.

I don't think anyone is stretching belief in any of this yet.

Except that I've observed Mike North long enough to know that he doesn't just get a home loan like you and I get a home loan . . . he "does a deal" with a banker he knows, he has the guy over to a party, and so on. Usually, if you do business with Mike, you're "one of his guys." He gives you a break on something, you do likewise for him. You have to understand this about him; god knows, he's bragged about it long enough, and I think it's why some of us are having such a hard time giving Mikey a pass on all this.
