Hell, Jesse was bragging about making double his Score salary. Bebe and Pappy were above him in this operation. What did Mrs. COO do on a day to day basis? It's come out that she did nothing. Pappy did nothing either. Pappy said that Hernandez took over day-to-day operations after the staff was hired.

Pappy and Bebe never thought it was curious that they were being paid for doing nothing? Did any of Bebe's or Pappy's checks bounce? If not, why?

Well, our media didn't ask but the FBI will. The FBI will ask all of the right questions. It's not the "kiss ass" dumb Chicago media. North won't be able to shout them down. He won't be able to use his stupid logic on them. I guarentee you, once the FBI is done questioning Pappy he'll be crying.

As much as I hate to say it, I wouldn't be surprised if the FBI doesn't give a shit about North or anyone at Webio. As long as North didn't personally accept any money and hand that money over to DH I think the FBI will just look at him and his wife as victims. From the sound of things, Webio was a very small drop in the bucket in DH's scam. People that worked at the medical supply company will probably have a lot more explaining to do since they were around DH for a longer period of time. I wonder if he even actually sold any medical supplies?

I don't think North should get too much credit for paying the webio guys one weeks pay. He was paying them with dirty money he got from Hernandez.

Bebe never question that she was named COO of a radio station without any experience. COO of a company? A job it takes some people 20 or 30 years to get. Of course not. She was Mike's wife. That's all you have to put on the resume. Any company would have hired her for that position. She just never applied before I guess.

If the actual figure the Norths drew in "salary" from this ill-fated venture was revealed, I think a lot of people would be shocked and revolted. That's just my gut feeling--I have no evidence. Like others are pointing out, second-tier guys are doubling and tripling their salaries, Hernandez is trying to win everybody over by spending freely--I'm sure Mike and BeBe were handsomely compensated.

The FBI might think that these positions are fronts to take bad money. They'll certainly explore that angle. At least the on air talent and producers did something. They actually did radio shows.

BeBe's position a front? Oh, come on, doesn't she have an MBA from Harvard as well as decades of experience in running broadcast operations?

I mean, seriously, forget even Hernandez's criminal record and bankruptcies, isn't the mere fact that BEBE FUCKIN' NORTH was made COO enough of a red flag to scare people away? Are you kidding me? The more I think about this story, the less sympathy I have for the dupees. (Is that a word--dupees?)

I don't think the FBI needs Mike and Bebe to flip. They have everything on Hernandez. That's an open and shut case. The North's need to worry if anybody will flip on them.

Heres my new take- What happens when Hernandez is caught and what does he say about North to the FBI? I know he'll probably lie or stretch the truth to make Mike look worse but think aboout it for a sec. Hernandez is a crook but he's also very smart. What if he set up the books somehow to show North had involvement. Either actual involvement or made to look like it to take some of the heat off himself? I'm sure before he flew the coop, Hernandez knew North was tearing him up in the media.

Because of BOTH of their roles in the "webio", they ARE criminals because they chose to lie in bed with Hernandez REGARDLESS of whether they had knowledge of his past/current situation(s). Pleading "dumbass" or simply being naive will play some role in their ultimate culpability, but as has been discussed there IS a requirement to do your due diligence when you are going to PARTNER with someone -- especially when you're staking claim to the idea/organization/concept. The Norths may be guilty of being as stupid as they have claimed they are smart, but they are also guilty of partnering with a slimebag and they will have to assume some responsibility.
