I thought the first 30 minutes was rather awkward. The first few callers were strange and had nothing more to say than welcome back. It seemed like Les wanted the callers to stay on the line to talk but they jumped off.
But it's great to hear Les again instead of the David Stein suckfest!

I'm gonna listen to all of the shows from the last couple nights. I have to get my Grobber fix in case they get rid of him again. I used to think TW was obnoxious, but now I miss him too. He had that sports trivia game where one guy would say a player's name and then the next guy would have to say a name that started with that letter. I think it was called Initial Reaction.

I actually liked listening to the stories on the David Stein show -- they were a change of pace. Some of the gimmicks ('winner winner, chicken dinner!', scenes from the remake of Fever Pitch) were quite tiresome but overall the callers seemed genuine and their stories were uplifting. I, on occasion, did do random acts of kindness.

At least they have the shows on the web, so I can still listen.

No, AA is not a positive thing for addicts because it teaches addicts the erroneous belief that they are powerless children. Instead of ignoring the bad things in your life and sweeping them under the rug of "What's something good in your life?" he should be asking, "What are you doing to deal with the problems that bring you pain?" Because you know what? If you just sweep your problems under the rug, then eventually you are going to build a little hill and trip over them and take a hard fall.

And pornography addiction.... What a sham of an addiction! YOU REALLY REALLY LIKE PORN BECAUSE YOU ARE A MAN!



Anyway the Lee Elia Tirade is the most positive thing in many people's lives and we have the Grobber to thank for that.

Yeah, I thought that too. He used the word "timing" when mentioning this. Maybe the Score is gonna drop the Dan Patrick show all together. He said the announcement might be made during the Danny Mac show. We'll see.

Grobber will be starting at 10pm, Dan Patrick comes on at 1am. Apparently Grobber comes back from 4a-5a? An earlier start is definitely easier on the guy and his crew but I don't understand why they'd have him stick around to do 4a-5a. I also hope they don't drop Dan Patrick altogether - I like the show enough that I'll listen in to the delay when I get a chance, but I don't know if I would ever bother to go after the podcast.
