I'm watching the Blues Brothers with the sons...

Nothing like kids picking up classic lines in movies - without any assistance.

Max walked by some guy with his daughter at Starbucks in Barnes and Noble tonight and muttered "How much for the little girl?"

Nice. The movie has generally aged well as far as the comedy goes. A lot of classic scenes. The scene driving through the mall, the Nazis flying through the air "I always loved you sir" and the diner scene with Aretha. You can tell the impact of a movie by how many people continue to imitate it in popular culture over time. I only wish they had not made Blues Brothers 2000.

Close, but I think the top honor goes to Caddyshack II.

Caddyshack and Slapshot 2 have to be the worst, but when those movies came out nobody (including the participants) took the seriously.

Unfortunately, Jim Belushi, Dan Ackroyd and John Goodman took Blues Brothers 2000 seriously.

Never saw it. I don't like the Blues & hated the yearly coverage
of KoKo Taylor at some obscure blues shitfest. Belushi & Ackroyd
were great on SNL as the Blues Bros. but a whole movie?
