Mikey took a few shots at the Score on today's MITM. Mentioned Drew Hayes was brought in to crack down on some producers who weren't doing their job and specifically, or should I say, not specifically called out Bernstein for not being well liked by the audience or the sponsors.

Here is a few of the differences between Bernsie and north, Bernsie does for charties what North lies about he does for charties. Bernsie might say things that piss people off, but he always has a solid argument, does his research and believes in his stance, North does no research, is ill-informed and will change his opinion for a paycheck.....no contest, bernstein is a professional and North is exposing himself as the dumb-ass we all knew he was.

It's actually kind of funny when you stop and think about it. This loser is sitting there on the set of some amateurish-looking TV show that no one watches with his cocktail-waitress news reader and "sponsored" by a high school that he volunteers at and a Mafia-infested suburb, he's still in the news for being part of a scandal where he hooked up with a sleazy, suicidal con man that cost his friends their jobs, and HE'S telling us what's wrong over at the Score.

I call it copying. Mac's "Gloves off Tuesday" premiere must have appealed to Mike, so he came back with his version of it. I didn't see it though. Did he mention anything about "playing dirty?"

I posted twice because I wanted Drinky's feelings about North calling him and Jason out for not producing, and I posted here so that I could get feedback about North.

I also forgot to mention that North proclaimed that he knows this because of his Score insiders. He still has peeps at the Score that give him the dish. Those must be the peeps of his that said no to his dumbass internet radio venture and stayed at the Score

Yeah, Mike as fucked up as you say things are over at the Score, they got one thing going for them that you don't: their operations weren't shut down because the guy bankrolling them was a check-bouncing, kidnapping, thieving con-man who fooled you and your buddies with a mahogany table in his office.

North's comments are about as stupid as stupid can be. Taking shots at the guy who still is on the air and in a secure job after your latest in a long line of failures is in the news?

Bernsie might not be "the best" or one of "My Guys" but "My Guys" have all gone down in flames in recent months now, haven't they?

I do feel for Doug Buffone and OB (dammit) though. I'm going to miss their post-game stuff.

This sucks, today is the one day that I can't listen to B&B. That's too bad because it has potential to be a damn good show today...

the demise of the score coincides directly with the signing of the whitesox games. nothing pisses me off more when i want to hear sports talk and i get whitesox baseball. thats not sports. if i wanted to listen to a little league game on the radio i would admit myself to an asylum.

Yeah, things were going just great over there with that Mike North/Anne Maxfield morning show and then they got the damn Sox and ruined everything!

When the Chicago White Sox announced they would move their broadcasts from ESPN Radio 1000 to 670 The SCORE, they did so DURING the 2005 World Series title season, but it wasn't until 2006 that the CBS Radio-owned sports talker started airing the games. WSCR only paid a fraction of what WMVP paid for rights' fees. I think they have one more year remaining on their current broadcast deal with SportsRadio 670.

Wasn't North instrumental in helping WSCR land the Sox, due to his relationship with Reinsdorf?

Reisndorf wanted to get away from ESPN due to the bad blood there during Marriotti's show run as well. When the guy leading into your broadcast did nothing but bash your product; you eventually grow tired of that routine.
