Pappy says he does work with some 200 charities, right? I didn't realize there was a "Mike North Foundation" until I stumbled across the state record. That's all.

And if you're really concerned about his address, it appears in the minutes of the Park Ridge Village Board meeting, as they apparently received some sort of award.

Mike doesn't exactly keep a low profile in the neighborhood, either. He's talked many times about how he's got three big flagpoles in front of his house where he flies the American, Italian, and Irish flags.

I always found flying of foreign flags (in Beverly especially) that some people do rather odd. It's one thing to revel in cultural traditions that came with your heritage, it's a whole 'nother thing to fly a flag of a foreign nation. There are numerous ways to celebrate and display ones ancestral roots without flying flags of foreign nations. Hope I didn't offend anyone, just a personal opinion. I apologize in advance.

...or a dual citizenship. Now that can come in handy if you need to flee the country for some reason, but I don't get it...and it always seems to be people of one particular ancestral heritage...who also break into the speech pattern of that country when they drink...and love to wax poetic about the old country even though their ancestors came here because of the extreme poverty and extremely limited social mobility.

I still see mostly sisters wearing Africa medallions. I'm cool with those. They convey/celebrate heritage without displaying attributes of any of the african states.
