As we all know everyone involved with this failed venture has spoken punlicly about how great of an idea it was and how it could work and I COULD make a full court shot.
Notice that North said in the paper that 2 investors have approached him about it, thus keeping the hopes burning for Weber, Jessie, Ofman, Chet, Freddie. You know he has told them he is working on getting this thingio restarted.
I don't think it will launch again soon, but I think he will get something on the internet and anyone working at Webio II will go from making 3 times what they made at a previous gig to 1/3 what they made at a previous gig.

Wouldn't a relaunch technically be a re-relaunch; as Mike North tried webio last year for a few broadcasts; and after the 4 or 5 investors backed out; that he had to go to Hernandez?

well, seeing how the old webio was 10x better then the score... once they find a smart invester it will be the biggest name in chicago sports radio.

So, I'm going to use up my cellphone so I can listen to webio in the car (possibly paying for it, if the phone doesn't come with unlimited internet access); or I can use the radio that's already in the car to listen to sports talk. Hmm, let me think about that.

So, ok; I'll upgrade my phone, get a higher priced package, so I can listen to a guy who uses "dese" and "dose" in conversation. A guy who 'tinks' Da Coach is DA best when it comez to motivaton; youse nose?

Over the air radio I don't have to pay for; paying for a smartphone and all the perks I do.

You need to do a TON better than being able to hear a HotDog vendor talk about MY GUYS to get me to switch phone carriers.......
