I understand the running joke (or reality) about guys not making money as interns, producers, etc. but it sounds like the guy doesn't have a nickel or a 3rd shirt? I thought he had a gig on Sporting News Radio before and a decent band?
Mac, get the guy an advance or let's have a coat drive for the guy!

I doubt he's homeless, but he may be brainless.

Mac is succeeding yet again in spite of his partner.

You guys just don't get the big picture.

This is middays. You can listen to Mackeyfish sugarcoat it all day long, but it's the low rent district. Advertisers don't pay squat for midday time.

Therefore, the Score is not paying Mackey the $300k he supposedly won't get out of bed for. Now, I can hate on Mac all I want, but the guy isn't stupid. How does Mac maximize his income? Well, first he gets a dirt cheap partner. And he gets the best producers he can find because he knows that they are cheap and they will carry his sorry ass. This is the Mac maximum income formula, not the best radio show formula.

And you just don't get laid. It's probably why you are such a crabby dick.

The rest of us can give it sometime. You had your mind made up before this show went on the air.

The one-year contract for Spiegs might prove to be the show's MVP.

Matt did sound really happy to get that first check. But I found that kinda neat. For anyone who ever had their budget stretched to it's limit and then have money again, it's a feeling you don't forget. The relief is something you could sense and I'm happy for Matt. For all those who have a hard time with Mac's talk about Hi-Def big screen TV's and $190.00 Allen Brothers roasts, here is a guy who has struggled a bit and just happy to have a few bucks in his pocket....happy??

I don't want a guy who's happy to get that paycheck. I want the guy who almost feels entitled to it—and always wants more—not because he's complacent but confident in his talent and work ethic.

What you don't like Spiegel? Fucking shocking. You should make this clear in every thread in the Danny Mac section to avoid confusion.
