Include suspensions, ejections, and fights with teamates and get back to me.

Addicted to the Cub section, aren't you Frank?
Go worry about Ozzie, that picture of mental health!

You and kerchunga must have a fucking pager that goes off to alert you as soon as I post something. Get a life, or a radio show that people actually listen to.

Maybe he's just flirting with me so much because he looks like Hawk.

Ouch! What a stupid comment!
Get a show that people actually listen to?
Why don't you go and get a show at all, you total moron.
That was the dumbest attempt at a cut-down I've ever heard.
Kind of like a little bald asshole saying to someone, "Why don't you go get some hair."

If the cubs make the post season this year do you want him starting game 1? I sure wouldn't. He's proven time and time again he's not a big game pitcher.

z COULD be an ace but hes too inconsistent. i would trust lilly or even wells(up to this point) over him if we needed a win in the playoffs

What about him says that? He pitched one game in 2007 went 6 innings, allowed 1 run 1 BB and 8 K's. In '08 his single start he still went 6 and had 2 BB and 7k's. He allowed 3 but that's not bad for Postseason.
His 03 postseason stats weren't that great, but he's a 5th guy back then, and he did not fail to meet the expectations of a 4th or 5th guy at that time. Plus, I think that was his first full 30+ games started season, so I'm sure his rookieness had something to do with it.
KS, the numbers don't really agree with your statement.

Buehrle, Danks, and Floyd would start for me in the playoffs over Z. Not only would they likely pitch better, but if there was an error on the field or a poor call by an ump, neither of the 3 would melt down, where Zambrano probably would.

Frank, don't change your argument mid stream. This wasn't about who starts what game in the playoffs. You said you wouldn't want him on your team, which I know to be untrue. If you had him, you'd be happy. You wouldn't want a guy who will win 15 and had no hit stuff on any given night? Bullshit.

He's 0-2 with a 4.34 in 5 career post season starts. Those are the numbers I looked at before I posted. It might be that he just makes me 'itchy' during big games.

Starting Buehrle over Zambrano is debatable but to say you would start Danks or Floyd over him is just ignorant.

In addition, Zambrano's career #'s in August and September (I think end of the season is big when considering division / wild card races are determined) are a rather pedestrian 30-27 w/4.01 ERA. I would've thought he would've been better considering his hype. Considering his late season performance over his career plus his total playoff performance, I wouldn't consider him a reliable big game pitcher.

With the baggage and paychecks that come with Zambrano, no, I don't want him on my team.

These are the kind of things you say that cause me to question your baseball IQ, Frank.
100 wins vs. 64 losses? That .610 winning percentage isn't something the .500 Sox could use?
A career 3.49 ERA where he's consistantly pitched 200 innings a year since his addtion to the rotation isn't enough?
Don't tell me about attitudes and craziness cause Ozzie and AJ have plenty of baggage and nincompoopery that they bring to the cell every day.

How many games has AJ been suspended for activity on the field? What, 2 games after Barret hit him? How many ejections does AJ have with the Sox?

As far as Ozzie goes, saying something stupid to the media is not the same as punching your catcher in the dugout, flipping out on an ump who made the right call on a close play, or intentionally throwing at guys.

Bottom line, Zambrano has cost the Cubs more games then AJ has.

oh really?
let's see the numbers Frank. How many games exactly has Zambrano COST the Cubs?
You're not making sense Frank. Z with a good offense behind him is gonna win 15+ games. He's gonna pitch 200+ innings. He's a damn solid #1, #2, or #3 and he's not paid more for his productivity thank other comparable pitchers.
What would be your thoughts on a guy like TO with the bears by the way?

Wrong. By a MILE.

As a member of the White Sox A.J has allowed:

SB - 376
CS- 94

That's a 25% CS ratio.

If you can't throw people out, that puts more runners in scoring position. Which in turn allows more runs than would have been allowed if that catcher had thrown out the baserunner.

I would wager to say that A.J's vagina arm has cost the Sox more games than Big Z's craziness has cost the Cubs.

 Wrong. By a MILE.

It is widely known across the league that outside of Buehrle, nobody on the Sox pitching staff can hold on base runners. 90+% of those bases are stolen off the pitcher. Keep grasping as straws.

All of the years he wasn't with the Sox he has a 39% CS. His career CS is 23%

It's not just the pitchers, but keep being a White Sox apologist.

Oh, BTW Todd Hundley has a 25% CS...just sayin

I found the following for AJ's CS%:
2002 Min 29.7%
2003 Min 30.3%
2004 SF 22.7%
2005 CWS 22.5%
2006 CWS 21.7%
2007 CWS 24.4%
2008 CWS 17.9%
2009 CWS 9.3%

Overall: 22.2%, which = not very good.
