ZZ, ginger haired genius, love his Bears info, but this is a sham of a show for Hit and Run.

Bringing up worn out roid topics? This is not hit and run my man.

Shhhhhooooeeee! Where are you on this one? This was the show that Jessie and George got to really talk in depth baseball about what is going on.

Instead I have to listen to meatball callers talking "If Paulie took roids, blah blah"

Make the call, Offer George and Jessie a discounted salary, they will take the jobs.

You're right, Big Fan. Zack is just an angry ass hole who doesn't know a god damn thing about baseball. All he does is make a fool of himself when he speaks. The show the last few weeks from Zack is "Don't panic, the Cubs still have a shot". Fine but can we break down some actual baseball. Shu and Zack also suck at interviews.

It's bad enough that Zack dry humps everybody with the Bears. We don't need him talking baseball. Give this show to Mike Murphy and Jesse Rogers.

Seriously, I've never heard a sports talk show host always have this angry, pissed-off tone. Even Bernstein and Boers goof around and have some fun. Sports talk is life and death to Zack. He's just not a good talk show personality. He'd be a decent reporter if he didn't "work" for the team he covers like he does with the Bears.

If Amanda Beard heard Zack do "Hit and Run" she would have never talked to him. She got away from him once she got to know him better I'm sure.

I love the caller right before noon who busted ZZ's balls after he said that Cabrera "was a shell of his former self" the year he got traded to Detroit. Uh, Double Z, he LED THE AL IN HOME RUNS THAT YEAR! So this caller is like, "that's what you call a shell of his former self? I just want to understand you Zack." Then ZZ stammers for a while and says, "Well, he didn't start out well... not as bad as Bradley of course," which was the whole reason he brought up Cabrera for comparison's sake, "and he was disappointing, is that OK with you?" At least Bernstein will admit when someone has made a relatively decent argument against him... ZZ just decides to get angry with his listenership.

It's a common trend with ZZ. He doesn't know what he's talking about, a caller will bust him on his dumb comments and he stammers out of it instead of just saying "Got me, you're right". I think this happens every "Hit and Run". He just doesn't know baseball.

He said Dye was "finished" a couple of weeks ago. Dye has been real hot lately but he really didn't start out that bad this year. He was hitting like .265 with decent power numbers when Zack said he was done.

I don't think Zack watches baseball. It's either that or he's really stupid. Zack also seems like he enjoys being a dick. Sometimes it's called for if you're a radio host but Zack goes out of his way to be an ass hole to the callers. It's one thing to be this way when you're right and the caller is stupid but it's usually the caller being right and Zack is the stupid one.

In the past I've said that I would listen to any show that talks baseball but the sports whisperer has made a liar out of me. This show is an absolute abortion.

Finfer has been doing Sundays on ESPN 1000. He's better but they always stick him with rotating bad co hosts. Today it was Bardo.

The old Hit and Run was solid and will be a hard act to follow. Offman made it great and could be a difference maker for any sports outlet that hires him again.

I couldn't believe I was actually tolerating Jesse in a show because Jesse solo was brutal back in the day.

Schuster and Zaidman have potential but it will take a while before the chemistry settles in. Schuster's got the knowledge, and Zack can get it eventually. If management can't wait, maybe they could put Grobstein in the mix.

How David Schuster has a job in Radio is beyond me. He looks and sounds wierd. Kinda Gay...And ZZ is horrible. He always sounds pissed off...except when he talks about the Bears. ZZ is the ultimate Bears ALS'r.
Mitch is insulting our intelligence with this version of Hit & Run. For Gods sake, re-hire George Offman and team him up with Murph.

Muprh would be excellent in this role and I think he would be happy to do it

I agree. They could even expand it to Saturdays and Sundays to give him 8-10 hours a week.

On the money. Long weekend shifts are perfect for Murph's show and audience.

..especially if the shows are broadcast on a low-watt station somewhere in Wyoming.

Murph knows nothing about baseball and less than nothing about how to be interesting.

He has his audience, though.
