Watching this currently and doing a quick hard target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse, or doghouse, is this the last real good movie Harrison Ford has made?

I'll say yes.

Sela Ward used to be real hot. I remember watching her on an episode of Night Court as a yout' and was quite impressed, even relative to Markie Post.

I forgot Julianne Moore was also in this film. Also a very big fan back in the day.

Pretty sure I just saw Roland Burris in the parade scene.

This might be the greatest thread ever.

Fans, I believe the movie "The Fugitive" starring Harrison Ford from the 1990s which was based on the older television series from the 1960s which was also named "The Fugitive" starring David Janssen, was actually filmed in and around the Chicagoland area and featured many landmarks and also people from the Chicagoland area.    Image

Well done Killer. Very well done. That's the best Shark parody I've seen...so naturally, I can't stand you now.

I love this movie. It's one of those movies that I'll watch any time it's on....except for right now, because I'm watching a little know game known as the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP!

Without shaming me to look it up on IMDB, was this before or after Air Force One? Both are fine examples of Mr. Ford's work. However, he will ALWAYS be Han to me. *swoon*

I actually like Tommy Lee Jones better in this movie than Harrison Ford.

I.............. don't.......................... bargain.

Too bad Joe P. didn't get more to do in this, although to me he could never top what he did in Bound or in Midnight Run.

I can see him out there now. Laughin' at me. Laughin' at me, laughin' at me, LAUGHIN' at me! Fuckin' LAUGHIN' at me!

Air Force One was entertaining, but overall not a great movie.

Fugitive is a great flick, and outside of doing a swan dive off that downstate dam, its pretty realistic too.

Clear and Present Danger. It was his next flick after Fugitive.

Just remember this , he was not supposed to be Dr Jones. He was a last min replacement for the original actor that was cast. I think he went down hill after Return of the Jedi. Plus he was okay as Jack Ryan , I still think Baldwin was better in the role

Thanks, RFDC. Life has been one continuous suck fest lately, but tonight I felt good enough to check out the internet for a bit.

No. In the film you can see green grass and budding trees at the same time they do the St. Patrick's Day parade. You do not see that here in mid-March. We don't start greening up until April.

Not only is the swan dive unrealistic, but so is the existence of a dam like that in Illinois.

Ford made a movie a few years back, where he was a bank president
who's family is taken hostage. My wife & I might be the very few
who saw it,but I thought it was good. I also enjoyed the last INDY movie.

My personal favorite "Illinois Mistake" is the frost covered maple and oak trees in December in "Christmas Vacation"

I noticed that too. Plus the angle of the sun, its brightness and the shadows it cast were all wrong for that time of year.

What happened to the pay phone by the bridge at Wells and Wacker?

Also I'm not sure if the PA on NB trains announces the next stop (Merch Mart) as the train crosses the river. I feel like that announcement occurs earlier in the ride, specifically at or about Clark and Lake stop for NB Brown and Wells and Washington for NB Purple. :?:
