It's on NBC right now... a 2 part mini series. So far it is some of the best acting I have ever seen. Even the oldest boy from Home Improvement showed up for this one. Main actors appear to be Jason Alexander and Christopher Lloyd. (Also the Allstate guy is in it.)

dude this is the most complicated movie ever made. how you can keep up with the plot is just amazing. there's trucks that don't have enough gas, there are guys making phone calls and leaving voice mails, there are people who can't get enough water because of racist guys who are taking too much time with taking milk...and now christopher lloyd is DEAD?!!

Not yet... not yet..... OK NOW he is dead.

The world is likely doomed according to my calculations... about 87% chance. I am concerned that the tap water supply throughout the nation has failed due to magnetic interference from these meteors. I suppose we won't know for a while.

those cut scenes with the maps, are just so brilliant. i've never seen anything like it. i'm blown away.

I truly think we are looking at an Emmy for Lloyd for this performance in a mini-series.

those meteors hate children! i hate them! get them, america!

Nobody caught that meteor blow to left center. Kind of convenient that the angles of attack varied wildly, but I'm sure they'll explain that later.... OMG, a school bus just almost got hit! It flipped over on its side! Four or five of them are probably injured!!!

Sokoloff's best acting since Dude... I can only hope the new algorithm will track the trajectory of the asteroid appropriately... that's the only thing that can save the world, and in particular, the Western U.S.

That's what I thought, too, newper but we'll have to see if it works. Right now i'm quite dubious!

What they need to do is just go ahead and declare WAR on these meteors! They are shredding satellites, like Jason Alexander said.

Marla knows how to say "Hello" in both English and Spanish... certainly there must be a way to use this against the meteors!

OH MY GOD! I didn't see that coming at all!

Now, I have been paying attention to the latitude and longitude to each one of the specific areas of these map cut scenes, and writing them down. I think that will be important to the plot later on.

We can only hope that one important satellite lasts long enough... I think that's the only hope for Los Angeles (and the rest of the world possibly.)

Now the meteors are getting BIGGER? Oh man...I don't know if I can take more of this...thank God they just went to commercial break. My heart is pounding!

Well the Sheriff is back in town and not taking any guff from anybody. He also brings up a good point -- we need to help each other out instead of fighting against each other. That's a lesson I am going to apply to my workday tomorrow.

Also, similar to the show 24, this show likes to have a meteorite peppering shot before/after any scene. I really dig where the director/editor was coming from with that.
