This is the guy that would bitch about the Score going on the cheap. Funny how things change when it's your money. Didn't he owe it to his current sponsors to have live programming? They shouldn't have had to pay the same rate for reruns. Plus people couldn't get the traffic!!!!!

How do you do reruns on a TV sports show? Especially when the Cubs and Sox played every day. That's pathetic.

I thought this thread would be about Pappy caught defecating in Rodeo's horse barn.

Funny how he's so money-conscious now, but he and that COO over at Webio didn't seem to have a clue about how they were paying for six-figure salaries, advertising at the Cell, first-class travel to Calgary, etc. on 2,300 fucking dollars of revenue.

What an asshole.

Amazing. The more I think about it. Only months away from walking from a $650,000 (or whatever) to doing this WEBIO BS. Not only did he not research Hernandez,he did not do a feasability study on the whole concept. I STILL think it's a good idea but not the business model they had set up. Throwing around money left & right was way off base.

Mitch thanks his chosen deity every night that north did not sign that contract offer. That salary in this climate might have cost Mitch his job.

Hiring Mack didn't cost Mitch his job (yet) so I doubt keeping Nort would've mattered much. Seems like Mitch has carte blanche over there.

Mac is making $200K on a one-year deal. Pappy would've gotten $800K for a multi-year deal.

Mac's only getting 200K? How is that possible? Is he doing the show on remote from the comfort of his bed?
