I know some of youse are fans. It starts tonight at 9 on Bravo. Local talent competing on the show includes: the more tolerable of the Bayless brothers that smiles at you off the salsa jar labels in the grocery store; Oprah's Art Smith; and someone named Graham Elliott Bowles who I don't know much about other than that he cooked at Tru.

How about the guy who created the McGriddle for McDonalds?

I'm pretty disappointed by the show. Putting renowned chefs into a dormroom with a microwave and a hotplate and forcing them to stop pasta cooking in a shower is beyond dumb. I want to see them in their element, in an environment conducive of creating culinary works of art.

Yeah I was dissapointed by the show as well. I don't like the format change from Top Chef and none of the chefs were really interesting to me. Also really not a fan of the crosseyed new hostess for the show. I dunno I guess I was expecting more. Might give it one or two more chances but off to a bad start.

I think the show has been alright. Part of the problem is that you can't expect these working chefs to be able to devote 3 months of their lives to a TV show. So they try to get them in on a weekend or something, and then be done with it. I think it has been fairly good overall, and I am interested to see what they do for the final 6. Go Bayless!!
