I have listened to WSCR since day 1 in 1992...and this week is the worst week of radio that I have ever heard on the Score.
Where is it written that WSCR must hire as many retread Newspaper & sports guys as possible??? Good lord...how many people are now on the Score payroll???

Dont take these internet board room discussions too seriously Bob. It aint life or death here. None of us can make a valid judgement of the board members based on posts on this board.
Just when you think you have people figured out you find out that the guy you thought was an unemployed bum, is a company CEO...not that some CEO'S aren't bums!
Macs vacation doesnt affect my life at all. If it was me though, I would have my ass in the chair in the studio just 4 weeks after taking the gig...a gig which is getting ripped by listeners & clobbered in the ratings. But thats just me. I have posponed vacations due to work situations in the past, But again, thats just me.
What happens on WSCR doesnt really matter at all to me, other than I am a long time listener & since I spend a lot of time in the car on the road I enjoy listening...although not quite as much as I used to. This board is a riot though. I enjoy reading the different thoughts & opinions, but you cant think that you really know someone by what they say on a message board.
And since you asked:
I am Married for 26 years with 3 kids, 2 in college, 1 in High School.
I am a very lucky Man to be blessed with a great Family.
I am a VP of Sales for a high tech company that makes factory automation connectors & components. I work out of my house but also travel alot.

McNeil and Meatpants......I do like Holmes....I think Boers and Bernstein have some great moments....I also think Boers and Bernstein go over the edge like they did when the drunken Bears were at the F.B.I. shooting range.....They acted like that stunt was Watergate....some huge security breach....Some of their over the top moralizing is nothing but common sense and a flat out bore....which is why I listen to The Afternoon Saloon....

I happen to love Steve Rosenbloom....His cynical approach to this stuff mirrors mine....He also was one of the few to always go after Chairman Reinsdorf......

Les Grobstein should ALWAYS have a gig at WSCR.....the guy is a legend.....HE is so damned Chicago...in the Brickhouse mold.
