To everyone who voted and participated in the online portion of the contest I say thanks. The contest concludes tomorrow night during a live remote from 115 Bourbon Street. Laurence Holmes will host and the broadcast will go from 8-11pm. Tune in if you can, or better yet, come on down to the event. It would be great to meet other board members in person.

Wow, I am in a tough spot. Chip Egan is clearly my favorite going in to tonight, seeing as he is one of us.

BUT... I just learned some BREAKING NEWS while listening to the final...

CONOR MCKNIGHT IS A BADGER?!?!?!?! And he covered the Badgers National Championship (which occurred while I was still in school)?

I am so confused right now...

LoHo wasted little time announcing that Michael Oshita won the online voting, but it doesn't mean he'll get hired. It's only 1/4 of the final vote...

Mitch just said it, but these guys suck so far. Some of these answers are just plain bad... or wrong at the same time.

It's very obvious everyone is very nervous. Dudes just need to relax and think their answers through.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mitch pick no one...

Connor McKnight's picture & profile are ALREADY posted at 670thescore.com as I type this message, and the new big voiceover of The SCORE just announced Connor as the winner in a promo going into the break. To my knowledge, he'll be starting September 1st.

Everyone,

It was a blast to be on stage and be a part of the whole thing. I enjoyed every minute of it and gave it my best. Right now, I'm off to bed and will be happy to report on the whole night later.

Connor McKnight: because the Score needed a John Krasinski equivalent.

Does this include the Brokeback Bowl?

TO: CHIP EGAN & MIKE OSHITA - MY GUYS!
Here's an opportunity for some of you looking to break into radio and get some good on-air experience. Vocalo.org is holding a "Next Top Sportscaster" contest. They are looking for a new, unknown sportscaster to do play-by-play, interviews, sports reporting and color commentary for six months for any and all sports, including many alternative & extreme events. It's an unpaid job, but you do get free entry into the sporting events and some Vocalo swag. Most importantly, you get some good experience to use for future employment opportunities. For information on entering the contest, go to this link http://vocalo.org/sportscaster
